Jean Sibelius' Kullervo is a gigantic 5-movement work with duration of over 70 minutes written for soprano, baritone, choir and orchestra which marked the young Sibelius' breakthrough as a composer. This unique recording includes two male choirs, the Estonian National Male Choir and the Polytech Choir (Helsinki), with an impressive number of singers together with Finnish soloists Johanna Rusanen (soprano) and Ville Rusanen (baritone).
