Simon Nemec played 60 games for the Devils last year - rather more than a handful. They'd have PREFERRED he just play a handful or so, same as Luke Hughes, but given the injuries, etc

I'm a Devils fan, and I'm taking the under and putting them in 3rd or 4th. They just get hurt too much. Two seasons ago was everything lining up perfectly. Last season was everything going wrong. Realistically, they'll wind up in the middle.

The 112 point is season is the clear outlier, but people seem to consider that the standard. I wish they're as good as people seem to think, as they're my team in the east, but I'm not as confident. My hope is playoffs, and I'd be thrilled if it isn't as a wild card team.

The problem is injuries and Markstrom. As a devils fan I’m worried to see what form of Markstrom we get. I think Keefe will be excellent for this team and have them working hard but if Markstrom plays like Vanecek did last year, we can’t expect this team to do good. Hopefully I’m wrong and the devils get back into the playoffs. Their forward core is super deep, defense is very good when all healthy and goaltending is still a question mark for me.

I HATE when everyone says Timo took off at the deadline or as soon as Ruff was fired which is basically the same since it's March 4th & March 8th. From December 21st through March 7th was 27 games in which Timo had 12 goals & 10 assists. 22pts in 27 games is excellent. That's sooooooo far from Ruff got fired & then Timo started playing really well. All of you got confused on where Kovacevic played last yr. Totally left out Bratt & Pesce. Totally left out trading Holtz, who a lot of people viewed as our top prospect for Paul Cotter. Nemec played 60+ games which is a lot more than a handful. The Devils are my favorite team so I know a lot more about them than any other team. This is the 1st time I've ever watched you guys. If you butchered that much about the Devils I have to assume that you're doing the same on every other team. Definitely a lost chance at adding a listener

The team was decimated with injuries and didn’t have a single competent goalie, but it was actually all Lindy’s fault somehow. Never mind that all of their possession numbers got drastically worse as soon as Travis Green took over. Lindy is an excellent coach and they had horrible injury luck. I don’t get why you have to take shots at him.

I wish Adam would stop trying to sell this narrative that Timo couldn't score under Lindy. Timo was injured missed like 20 games and couldn't skate cuz he had double MCL injuries and oblique injury hence the "medium body" injury Lindy mentioned. He got better by the time Greene was in and suprise with Nico scored goals. Cuz he could move on the ice. He would've scored more but he had a bum shoulder. Seriously, stick to the Leafs. You guys are so far from knowing anything.

Markstrom is not the saviour. Since he arrived in the NHL he’s alternated between great years where he is Vezina caliber and crap seasons where he lets in 1 or 2 soft goals a game and leaks like a screen door being used as a raft. Last year was a good year for him. This year he will cost them a playoff spot.

He truly was the biggest reason the Flames didn't make the playoffs in 2022-2023. That season was so annoying to watch. Countless one goal games lost due to a goal on the first shot of the game. That being said, if he's on his form, Devils will be great. It just depends which one they will get.

Lindy was never the problem. They couldn't get a save, how does that make Lindy a bad coach for them? When they got ANY goaltending he led them to 110 point season
