I may have had this one sitting in the box for too long, but the time is finally here to get her out of the box and in the air!!
First in a series of new videos, showing the Pilot-RC FC1 vector jet in collaboration with Elster Jet
The plan is to go for a JetCat P250Pro V2, Powerbox-Systems Mercury SR2 with iGyro SAT and MKS servos

Martin, I am 82 and I felt like a little boy looking over your shoulder as you unwrapped everything. The engineering development and design are self evident in the results. I was enthralled. I still build jets from balsa and ply but accept that I am a dynasour. Life goes on as it should. I don’t envy you but just enjoy the fact that you are happy to share the experience no matter what you tube pay you. i hope youre firewall is well glue to the plane, i have a pitt challenger 106 from pilot RC, and after 10 flight the firewall went away with motor on flight

Sounds like an inbalanced prop or bad vibrations, firwealls with locking parts, glue and screwed metal brackets as provided by Pilot-RC dont just fly away on their own…

If your FC1 is an early version, best to check with PilotRC. Mine had an in flight structural failure on its second flight. (And other owners had reported the same self destruct feature😳). FWIW.

Mine is off the shelf. I have seen a few go wrong when flown like a fast 3d prop plane, but that goes for mostly any vector jet... even the original Carf J10 specifies in the manual that the nose will fall off if flown quick!

I saw you fly this in Germany I believe, you borrowed someone else’s lol! A few flights and you were amazing as usual! This thing will do any maneuver no problem and you even had a crazy landing. I know your busy but more videos please!!! Your the best!
