Had Daiwa saltiga 35 2speed for 2 years. Changed to jigging handle.. It is pretty much the same specs as the OJ LD2500. I would keep using my OJ 1500 for inshore/nearshore jigging and Saltiga 35 for offshore.

Hi, im considering buying overhead. Im using spinning reel now and im left hand. Im using right handle reel so i can manage rod with my main-hand. Then, this overhead only have right handle, I was thinking this reel is made for left hand. But I wonder is that the case for overhead bcos many are manufacturing only the right handle where a lot of anglers are right handed. Is it bcos right hand using right handle for overhead? They dont need much power to handle the rod? Thank you for your enlightenment.

Hi, i’m looking to pair a small, narrow, spool jigging reel with a Shimano Terez 100-150 pound class (TZCX66H) .What is the best Shimano high-end reel you would recommend for tuna fishing up to 160 feet deep, thank you !

For torque and drag this is the best they make. For a narrow spool you would need to go to Trinidad but the drag pressures are only up to 24lbs I believe because they are star drag not lever.

Hi how many grams max of slow pitch rod is best to pair wth ocea jigger ld? For catching tuna around 50kg how many grams of jig and rod maxpower?
@JPDeRoseOutdoors8 ай бұрын
The grams of the jog will depend on how deep you are fishing and how heavy the current is. This will also dictate how heavy of a braid you should be using (to help cut the current). Once you figure that part out, the rod should match the jig weights as they have a weight range rating right on the blanks. If they are shallow it could be 80-150 grams, deeper fish will obviously need more weight - 200-400 grams so they unfortunately is no single answer.

good morning, I would like to know if it has a buzzer to stop the fishing line from coming out. Thanks in advance

This reel was designed specifically for jigging applications. For a line clicker, I would lean towards Talica or Speedmaster

What's the best slow pitching jigging rod to pair up with the new ocean jigger LD 2500HG

The Game lineup would be the top offering followed by Grappler. Both have rods for Slow Pitch Jigging

Get a real Japanese slowpitch jigging rod. Not a Japanese slowpitch rod made for the States. Give Seafloor Control a go. Great rods.

Hi can you sugest which one is better to buy for ocea jigger ld. The HG or MG?
@JPDeRoseOutdoors8 ай бұрын
It has been recommended MG for 150 ft or less and HG for deeper waters

shame that there's no left hand version?! Maybe Daiwa should make one and steal the market share... This is a jigging reel...

Is there a reason they didn’t make it a 2-speed?

Talica and Speedmaster are both 2 speeds

Probably because it's heavy enough as is.

What is the purpose of 2 speed when jigging?
@bringit3164 Жыл бұрын
@@shoregamesdxb none just like no reason for crazy high drag when your fishing with PE 1.5-3 braid. They know us American love big numbers lmao.
