I would advise nobody to "over spray" the current EDT, it's still a beast. No more than 2 sprays max lol. That 6 oz bottle should last somebody 6-10 years lol

I will NEVER FORGET the first time I encountered this fragrance in the early 90s...I went to a "male review" show..the dancers smelled so good you could eat them even after dancing and sweating and this is what they were wearing. Thanks for the breakdown on the new version!!!

The original formulation is also much harder to find in the UK. But many uk retailers do stock the Joop Homme edt however the shipping to the states might be expensive.

@CJB OCD I purchased it from a well known fragrance outlet called "The Perfume Shop" in the U.K... Please note that Joop also make a much less joop perfume deodorant that also comes in the same bottle but looks like it has been really watered down.. As mentioned previously the original formulation is much harder to find these day's. Yoy might only find the newer batches. Hope that helps 🙏

Yes it probably was fake i have just checked the uk website it clearly says on the bottle "Mild Deodorant Natural Spray" the colour of the juice is nearly transparent and the bottle design is exactly as the Edt.

That's really strange i would have assumed it would have been in the states by now. Your best choice would obviously be Europe or the U.K. I sometimes have the same problem! Some fragrances are released in the states or Europe first and are hard to find in the UK.

What the heck? Recommending Joop Homme for SUMMERTIME???? That's insane, it's a cold weather scent. Also it's irresponsible to recommend over spraying the original. Even with formulations Joop og lasts all day with 4 sprays max, but never in summer 🤣

Thanks Peter for the feedback really appreciate it however i never mentioned overspraying the original i clearly mentioned in the review "that it has been reformulated and no longer had the same performance but it's still decent for the price" You can review the video again if you wish to do so. In my current batch of joop homme i do spray approx 6-8 sprays still that's what works for me. Secondly you are correct with the summer theory as there are many scents which are explicitly made for either summer or winter BUT i will say to please try to explore with different scents. Joop Homme and Bentley Intense and a couple of other sweeter scents have got me more noticed and compliments through the slightly warmer casual day's dressed up in white jeans and white t-shirt both are recommended for winter obviously! especially Bentley Intense. As a fragrance Reviewer i do alot of fragrance testing and i have worn plenty of winter scents throughout the summer and vice versa, some actually are quite decent. Of course everyone will have there opinion and that's completely acceptable. Please do try wearing Joop in the hotter day's or even in the gym i personally got more compliments in those two environments. dont over spray obviously and just see how you get on?. Also, Joop is very widely regarded to be a cold weather fragrance, go look on Fragrantica and educate yourself a little man. 😀 u will choke people out in summer, even more so with your recommendation tooverspray

None the less i will check out my video again.. . As for fragrantica it has pros and cons to the platform but is is an great way to check up on a fragrance and there notes. Your absolutely correct for fragrantica labeling this scent as a cold weather scent👍 ... However fragrantica isn't "fragrance law" where it states something is for winter then it must only be worn in winter and if you wear it in the summer you have broken the law. the whole point in my review which is telling people the truth about my review i personally wear this scent in the summer and have had more positive attraction from it and i even wear it during winter. Do i still recommend joop homme for the warmer day's and nights? Of course. I completely understand your opinion and you are ultimately correct it's an winter fragrance made for winter time should be only worn in the colder day's and nights and you should not overspray. My review is based on my testing with a scent that's been released since 1989 and I've worn it many times in the last 15 years. Yeah I've met a couple of people who don't like the aroma of Joop homme it's absolutely fine scents are subjective for all of us. Maybe you can try the New Joop Le Parfum it smells completely different and is a good scent or you can try the Joop Homme Red King it's smells kind of similar to the original but it's much richer with more of a gentleman vibe. That's a bummer if you don't like it best thing to do is to sell it off on eBay! Many people like it iam sure it would sell then you can invest your money in a better fragrance. The fragrance wouldn't go through any change at all for a good number of years. Unless it went off! by placing it in the wrong conditions which would eventually ruin the fragrance. What you have is what will remain for the most part so you are better off giving it a few wearings and see how people react to it, there are many scents that people don't like but come around to falling in love with them.
