@@johnrussakoff I got it from my cousin, he told me it was running before sitting. I never got to comp test it. I told Craig the same thing cause he ask me last week too. Hopefully, it's a good engine. I honestly didn't want to sell because it was a usdm motor and 5 speed.

Awesome find! I completed the H22A swap and full suspension rebuild summer of 2020, I could not be happier with the way it all turned out! I would ditch the Innovative mounts that are currently installed and purchase the 1Funryd H22 kit. I’ve heard nothing but bad things about that innovative mount kit. The biggest issue will be oil pan ground clearance with this swap. As long as you do not lower the car much and dial in a good wheel and tire size you should be fine. You will need to be mindful of steep driveways and speed bumps/large bumps in the road. I would manufacture a skid bar or purchase the 1funryd traction bar with skid bar to protect your investment. I really look forward to seeing your progress with this build, looks like you have your work cut out for you!

Yeah those kits are made wrong. I had to fix one of those kits 4 years ago. You can only modify them so much before having too really cut them up. Innovative themselves called me to ask how to fix their kit. But then went quiet after I told them to send me their kit too fix.

Yeah the crank pulley will hit the frame and the powersteering belt.

It looks like the power steering belt portion of this crank pulley has been machined off. This is probably why.

@@johnrussakoff yeah that was one of the main reasons the kit was made poorly.

@@johnrussakoff also they updated their kit with that newer driver side bracket and called it fixed. But it was not.

The crank pulley will hit the frame. And so will the belt for the powersteering because those mounts are made wrong.

Looks like the engine needs to sit more towards the passenger side like you said. Also it needs to move back towards the firewall, the engine angle is also off 😂. I think I should be able to modify this kit to work though. Not terribly difficult.

@@johnrussakoff yes you have to heavily modify those mounts to fix it. By the time I put work into fixing the kit, the customer was paying more for the labor than purchasing my kit. So we stopped at just clearing the frame, but he could not add powersteering. Also you will have to remove that front mount and redesign it when you change the engine angle.

I'm doing a h22 swap on my 1989 2.0 si. I bought the innovative engine mount kit as well and I haven't gotten the engine to sit properly yet. I say yet, because it seems that part of the engine is hitting the stock crossmember. so I ordered an aftermarket traction Bar, also from innovative back in September 2022. I have still yet to receive it, and it has been a total pain trying to get information on my order. I'm hoping it will fix the issue if it ever gets here, but I most likely won't be ordering from Innovative again

Check out episodes 2-3. I go over all the issues if run into. A lot of my issues were based around the car originally being automatic though. However, it required a bunch of changes to every mount to get the engine sitting correctly.

Nice little project. Someone chime in and correct me if I’m wrong but it looks like the previous owner had some fun trying to covert his wiring harness from obd0 to obd1. I wonder if you have a chipped ecu like a p28 or if you’re running a stock prelude computer like a p13
