Julie Pierce is definitely a likely candidate. Daniel also mentioned her indirectly in season 2 episode 2 when Sam officially joined Miyagi-Do again, "it's been a long time since this dojo's had more than one student".

@@kevinthompson3569 I've seen this theory before, and you're right about it being 'indirect'. If you think about it though, Sam once trained when she was young, so she and Daniel were both students under Miyagi as he was still alive at the time. So the last time Miyagi-Do had more than one student was when Sam was young, which was many years after the events of Next Karate Kid. I think the writers did this on purpose, cos being indirect helps generate discussions like this :)

If Julie returns to the KK/CK universe, she will be the perfect female mentor for Tori. She has had the anger at life of Tori and knows the challenges of overcoming them. It would also be the perfect way for her to honor Mr. Miyagi by helping someone the same way he helped her.

Very interesting. Obviously I's love to see Julie Pierce. I would ASSUME that her and Daniel know each other (maybe Mr Miyagi's funeral?). However, the writers do such a great job at keeping tight lipped that it's probably some supporting character. Freddy Fernandez? Snake Silver? I'm looking forward to it

Great idea. Daniel and his family visit the cemetery on the anniversary of Miyagi's passing. They come across Julie who is laying flowers at his grave. It is a happy reunion because Daniel and Amanda know her from attending the funeral years ago. Later that day, Julie also visits her ex husband Terry Silver in prison.

I think that it's highly likely that Hillary Swank will return in Season 6 as Julie the Cobra Kai showrunners have mentioned in the past that they've discussed her character. Not to mention that Hillary has mentioned in the past that she is open to coming back if she were asked. I think that it would be a no-brainer if we saw Daniel and Julie interact in the final season and it's something that I've wanted to see since I saw The Next Karate Kid in 1994.

The time for them to appear would have been S5, as they were Silver's minions in KK3. At the end of S4, when Kreese was being arrested, Silver said he had "a friend or two" to help run Cobra Kai in his absence, which some (including myself) took as a hint that Snake and Dennis were returning.

If Julie Pierce does come back, I wonder what the reason will be? I don't think it's because Daniel called her to help him with his Cobra Kai issue like he did with Chozen. Daniel took Silver as a bigger threat than Kreese seeing as he asked Chozen to fly a thousand miles away, and came to Mike and Johnny for help, so what reason would he have to call Julie later? I know Daniel didn't know about Kim Sun-Yung, his grand daughter, or their dojo in South Korea, but he came to his old rivals for help after Silver basically took over the Valley. I think Julie's reason for coming to the Valley is to visit Mr. Miyagi's grave for the anniversary of his death, celebrate his birthday, or something. Although, Daniel will probably ask her for assistance if she comes back, especially if ex-Cobra Kai's join Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang which means that they'll need more senseis. The rest are unneeded really, excluding maybe Daryl Vidal. The actor of Dennis said he wouldn't mind returning to his character as long as the story is good. @@kevinthompson3569 I honestly don't know how she could come back. I just know I want her back. I can see her coming to pay respect for Miyagi. The question is- Why would she help him? Is it just for the memory of Miyagi? If so I find it a bit weak reason. I have a sketchy theory about the why. Kim Da-Eun might seek information about Miyagi-Do and potential threats. Julie might be in this category of "potential threat." If she will find out about Julie, I think Kim Da-Eun might send a surprise attack and doing X something horrible to Julie herself or her family assuming she has one. So a hurt/dead family member might make it personal for Julie and a reason for helping Daniel. As for needing more Senseis- Daniel Lapusso, Johnny Lawrence, Chozen Toguchi, Mike Barnes, Bobby Brown potentially. Four/five is not enough?
