Omg! You’re an angel 👼 I practiced entering the ordinary input but can only get EWGF 1 out of 10 times. Whether it comes out as electric or non electric is totally random to me 😂 With your way, now I’m finally able to get like 7 out of 10 times and most importantly I can have a sense on when to input the A and how to adjust the timing so that I can get EWGF. Huge thanks! To anyone who’s trying this, you might still have trouble in the beginning but trust me it’s going to work at the end. One helpful way to help your understand when to input A is to treat it like smash attack, meaning you need to press the direction button and A button at the same time (for the second down forward).

Personally I do the full input but press A on the down instead of the down right That works a decent amount for me I'll consider trying this method out a bit when I can and if I like it I'll probably try to get used to it

I stick with full input because this method only works like 50% of the time it’s not consistent. Best way to do it in my opinion is with GC controller ➡️⬇️ and when you get to this part ↘️feel that mini curve on the controller stick imagine a mini hadouken and press A it comes out Every single time.

Forward, down+A, and then forward has always been the easiest way for me personally. Don’t have to deal with no diagonal bullshit inputs. If you’re already holding forward, all you gotta do is input down+A and then move back forward lol

I can do it but it's much much easier than the Tekken version Although technically the mist step version is actually easier (pewgf)

I tried non stop for like two weeks nonstop in training room all day every day and barely got it half the time when it's buffered off d throw. I'm sitting in training room the past few hours now cause I wanna do riddles stuff lol. I don't even main kazuya but I wanna do those combos SO badly. I'm getting semi consistent towards the right side, haven't even gotten to the left side yet, I can't figure out the double tap method in the video so I'm just doing the usual method. My hands hurt lmao

@@kophoenix9486 Try to imagine like you’re pressing A when you input down on the controller. Timing it just right to down forward in my mind didn’t work for me. Try not to tense your body when you do ewgf. I know that sounds weird if you don’t do that, but I used to tense my left hard pretty hard when trying to do precise inputs. It doesn’t help, and it just leaves you with a sore arm, lol.

@@Special_SSB 😈😈😈 okay okay wait okay okay hold on… it’s almost about as consistent as just learning the proper way… when I get home I’ll put in about an hour of lab and try it on my left side (my weak side) and see if I can make it consistent with that way if I can train my left side faster than my right side with the actual input I’ll officially say it works for sure but rn rn it’s about the same for me as just putting in the work to learn it the proper way

You don't hold for very long at all, you're essentially flicking the stick

It does work for them too! Just more impactful for Kaz since for the other guys you have time to buffer the input during cancelable moves like jabs, tilts, and aerials 😊

Usually that has to do with how long you're pressing A - has to be released within 2 frames of the down-forward input. Try hitting it quicker!

Sounds like you may be holding the A button down too long - try tapping it quicker
