Kia SELTOS 2023
The facelifted version of Kia Seltos has been introduced in the Indian market. In related news, we have compared its pricing with that of its competitors.
Pricing: The 2023 Seltos comes with an introductory price ranging from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).
Variants: It is available in three main variant lines: Tech (HT) Line, GT Line, and X-Line. The Tech Line consists of five trims: HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, and HTX+. On the other hand, the GT Line and X-Line are offered as single, fully-loaded variants.
Colors: Buyers have the option to choose from eight monotone, two dual-tone, and one matte color: Sparkling Silver, Clear White, Gravity Grey, Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White Pearl, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Intense Red with Aurora Black Pearl roof, Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl roof, and Xclusive Matte Graphite.
Seating Capacity: The Seltos facelift is available in a 5-seater configuration.
Engine and Transmission: Three engine options are available: a 1.5-litre petrol (115PS/144Nm) paired with a 6-speed manual or a CVT, a 1.5-litre diesel (116PS/250Nm) with either a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic, and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (160PS/253Nm) sourced from the Carens, mated to a 6-speed iMT (clutchless manual) or a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT).
Features: The facelifted Kia Seltos boasts an integrated display setup, including a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additionally, it comes with dual-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof. The car retains features such as an air purifier, ambient lighting, LED sound mood lighting, heads-up display, and ventilated front seats.
Safety: The safety package includes six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-assist control (HAC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.
Rivals: The Kia Seltos facelift competes with the MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Citroen C3 Aircross, Honda Elevate, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
