I've had so many timeouts after surgeries and every time God had something for me. I'm praying for your family to understand this process and to realize the important work God is doing in you and for you. Josh you are getting better everyday. I like the look of your new buck he has great muscle formation and I can't wait to see his offspring. Keep doing your best and you got this cancer licked. I had an Aunt at 95 she got breast cancer. She never took any kind of medicine, not even over the counter. She told the doctor just cut them off I don't need them . She refused pain medicine and she finally took over the counter Tylenol for first time in the hospital. She came a home after 5 days. They told her you will have to learn how to use your arms again, you'll have to have therapy so many times a week. She said do you think I'm touched in the head I ought to get the hang of it after one time. So she did her own therapy. Two months later she was back working on her yard, raking her own leaves, planting her own vegetables. She died one week before her 102nd birthday. She had worked in the yard earlier that day, her son found her in her recliner with her basket of mending in her lap. Aunt Ruby was tough as nails, frugal to a fault, but as kind and tenderhearted as they come. Her motto do what you want but make sure your ready for what you will reap. Wise beautiful lady. Just thought I'd share this to give you a goal to beat 🤓

I'm glad you got something to look forward to. I've had cancer twice and one of my nurses told me to keep making plans for the future, to keep thinking forward and positive. I planted tulip bulbs the first time, and planned a trip to the Smokey Mountains the second time. That new buck is handsome, nice and sturdy. I love his color too. Fantastic buck! His conformation is wonderful. My males have good conformation but not the size - I'm hoping with their genetics and getting better feed for everyone will make my next batch of kids grow larger. The does are looking better being in the barn, so we shall see. I think my one doe has madehh it to quad size! Take care of yourselves and remember that because of this medical journey you are on now, you will never be the old 'normal', but you will have a new normal without the stress your body is going through now.

With leukemia my platelet level stays around 20, not twenty thousand, just 20 for several years. It has never affected me much. Keep your eye on red and white blood cells and neutrophils. Of course you are 40- 45 years younger than me so ought to do even better. God Bless.
