When I read the court documents, I could see how she could not get away. Every aspect of her life was tied up in Diddy. From financial to medical. There was a lot of being drugged up and threats of murder. I mean he blew up Kid Cudi’s car over Cassie. That man could have been killed. He may have killed her. The psychological breakdown from a narcissistic personality can keep you stuck and give you complex ptsd. It was sexual abuse, physical abuse but also financial abuse. When your self esteem is broken to the point, I believe it can be hard to figure out what to do.

In reality, she owed him money for a breach of contract but he must have released her at some point. People are moved by money. If he could have bribed a hotel, he could have bribed the police or the person at the shelter to pass on a message. The point I’m making is that I feel she felt trapped. Was there a way out? She eventually got out with help of someone who was impervious to Diddy’s status and money. Maybe she needed that extra support and push.
