Are you releasing a non-Tuya version of this? Seems like quite a difference in price for the E16S vs E16T. Could use a few of the F16, but don't need Tuya.
@KinCony2 ай бұрын
if remove tuya, cost almost same, there are many different design in F16, F16 use ESP32-S3 and many different components. F16 will support KCS v3 soon, it will supply Apple homekit directly.

Almost perfect. Why is there not one kincony relay board with all removable terminals? What use are the removable input terminals if you can not remove the live wires in a safe way on the relay contact side.
@KinCony3 ай бұрын
Because the high-voltage circuit uses pluggable terminals, which may cause poor contact and pose a certain degree of danger, we have adopted pluggable terminals for low-voltage circuits.
@krismaddens30303 ай бұрын
@@KinCony What is wrong with a decent MVSTBR 2,5 HC/ 8-ST - PCB phoenixcontact connector, sure the connector that is used now is for sure not rated for higher current than the pluggable alternative. And if you strip a screw you are screwed :) and can start soldering new terminals.

Amazing product. Great to see how you develop your stuff year after year. Can I extend the number of relays to 32 for this controller?

use 2pcs of F16 controller will have 32 channel relay. But we are designing 24 channel version.

Do the manual switches link to the digital inputs, or they manually switch relays on regardless of how digital inputs are configured? If the latter, have you considered using three-way switches with "off | auto | on" settings so that a relay can be manually shut off when some automation has it turned on? edit: proper dimensions for consumer DIN panel is a great improvement, I will be buying a few
@KinCony3 ай бұрын
manual switch control relay's coin directly, without any software. Do you think when using 10A load, manual control ON/OFF button on relay is safety? i know the three-way switches, just thinking whether dangerous when using large current load, maybe will have contact spark. How do you think?
@jordannoblet36203 ай бұрын
@@KinCony Isn't the risk the same when you switch your current 2-way switch from on to off position? I might be misunderstanding you. (i don't know if either scenario has any risk and not qualified to say)

Beautiful product! When do you choose these mechanical relays vs solid state ones?

do you like solid state relay board?

@@KinCony I am used to Shelly products that use SSR and would like to understand where these mechanical relays are a good fit. However, given the size of circuits I have, I need something for professional and robust like Kincony products!
@KinCony3 ай бұрын
@@ruimarinho thanks for suggestion. maybe use SSR will smaller size , so that save space.
@jordannoblet36203 ай бұрын
@@ruimarinho I think most SSR are suitable for switching AC loads only, which works for most Shelly products. They can still fail, so I think replaceable Omron relays are better in most scenarios (where you have a single board with 16 switching loads)
@sourabhkumawat48633 ай бұрын
@@ruimarinho mechanical relays are cheap and available in variety of options upto 4 NO/NCs in single relay. also some of them have mechanical button on them for testing purposes. but downside of using them is that they are inductive loads and hence they need a freewheeling diode for safety and inductive loads are bad for noisy environments. SSRs on the other hand require very low Coil power to trigger and don't create much of noise on the controlling side but they are a little expensive and don't offer many switching options.

Perfect kincony. Can you tell me why use NTC on power line input thanks for sharing video.
@KinCony3 ай бұрын
When 12v or 24V load power supplies are connected in parallel, surges may sometimes occur, and NTC devices have anti-interference properties.

maybe in furture we will design board with SSR. But SSR relay only use for AC load, can't use for DC load.
