A 5 hour lay-over between flight's is much better than having to rush, more time to enjoy that lounge you were in., that meal onboard your KLM flight looked awesome. Nicely made flight review top marks 10/10🛫👍

I like the new cabin of KLM, the 1-2-1 seat layout, it would be great if the seat back aka "the wall" behind the seat is taller for an added privacy, the PTV, the privacy sliding door, almost everything about it looks cool.

Fantastic, KLM exposed and they did good until SIN. Definite reduced service level/cutbacks on 2nd leg...maybe a low yielding route? Otherwise another hugely entertaining and informative vlog.

FAs working the second leg generally consider the short hop to Bali and back an annoying interruption of their Singapore layover, something that passengers may well see reflected in the level of service provided.

Being Dutch I always hope that when KLM gets reviewed they will do well. Bit of a silly nationalistic thing maybe, I don't know. Glad to see you at least enjoyed the first leg. Nicely done, video. However, having said this, it is remarkable, that your expections as far as amenities go on a relativly short 90-120. minute shorthaul flight from singapore to bali are quite high, if not even way too high. The seat, I haven't seen it life yet but, well it seems to be a well designed airline-industryproduct of our time. No more, no less.

@john_cockpit hmm ngl Asiana cabin crews just did a bare minimum and very shy. I asked for Garlic bread and they said "no; we are out" and run away. instead of providing alternatives. KLM cabin crews went above and beyond and even initiated a small talk. they offered some snacks and drinks throughout the flight and even they have self served snack bars. there was no self served snack bars when I flew w asiana

so sad that the 2nd segment was not a great experience. ( I can relate to the meal being forgotten. on a flight with ETIHAD, FROM ABU Dhabi- SYDNEY, in Business Class on their A380, the cew just kept passing by me, although I had an order taken before takeoff. i stopped in the galley and was rudely dismissed. during the second meal service, a FA asked how my flight was, and I replied, not good- he didn't care...why bother to ask. The entire crew on that flight was one of the most robotic and non-caring I have encountered having flown over 2,500,000 miles around the globe. Thank goodness there are other airlines who have polished people and service. ) safe travels

Thanks for your video. Good job! 👌 At some points we totally agree. I also hate the walkbridge in front of the Crown Lounge in Amsterdam. Completly stupid to build the lounge behind a walkway. How was the Cabin Crew on your flight? I don't like KLM crews anymore. They are mostly quite arrogant, lazy and unmotivated. Only in the galley, when they talk to each other as loud as possible, they start smiling. Quite unprofessionell. Other airline crews are much much better and much more friendly.

You do know there is a 7 hours time difference between Amsterdam and Singapore? You leave with a late night dinner being served and wake up with a breakfast being served. Only when you exit the plane, you are in the new time zone.

@EGO0808 and exactly cause of that time difference I dont wanna have breakfast 1h before landing. Much better to have lunch, cause 3h after you leave the plane its time for dinner already. Having breakfast in the afternoon makes it harder to adjust to the new time zone.

Feels natural and only when I get out of the plane, I will adapt to my new timezone. I always skip dinner the first night upon arrival after an intercontinental flight.

The amenity kit has been replaced with a new version, which has the looks and appeal of a trash bag. Unless you are a bum on the streets of LA, you don't want to be seen with one in daylight. I gave up on KLM longhaul years ago, and fly them shorthaul only when they are the most suitable option, i.e. offer the most convenient schedule. Unfortunately, that's far too often. Their shorthaul J class truly sucks, but on short flights I can deal with it. For longhaul, there are invariably better options out there.
