Hi David , Lamborghini took the name of the fighting bulls (MIURA) whose cattle graze on the Zahariche farm, in the town of Lora del Río (Seville) Spain. Its origin dates back to the mid-nineteenth century and its antiquity dates back to 1849. I guess the Lambo is as fierce as our bulls.... ;) A beauty of a knife by the way. Greetings from Spain!!!!

David, I inherited a fieldcraft type knife from my father in law (he passed 18 months ago) with a 5.5 inch scandi grind blade and olive linen micarta handles. On the blade and leather sheaf is marked "White" in cursive. I did some research on line, but the only manufacturers I could find were "White Knuckler" and "White River" knives. I believe you carry White River knives. The knife is very beefy, with a 3/8 in. spine, and the sheaf is well patina-ed, but the knife has seen light use. I want to know the lineage of this knife, and I hope ya'll (you and/or the peanut gallery) can help.

Tactile Knife Co is a Texas company so Bexar is probably for Bexar County, where San Antonio is. That's pronounced Bayer like the aspirin.

On video, the Ace Iona could be modern version of the Rat2. With the future of Ontario products unknown, how about a video on Rat2 alternatives. Under $100, under 2.8 oz. Approximately 3” blade. I prefer not china made. Finally, not too tactical looking for office use. Thanks.

With so many better steels available, why does Gerber still use 440 steel? They have good designs and if they had some sprint runs with better steel I feel they would sell more.

Like everyone else, Benchmade is getting insane for price, Taggedout looks "OK", but for many knife users price becomes a factor. I have hundreds of knives, high end and budget, but it always feels good when you have a decent knife for a decent price, not a decent knife for a rip off price. I'll stick with my Benchmade 810 Contego over the Tagged "Out" any day. Condor looks like their still producing nice knives at reasonable prices.
