A lot of people hold the opinion that Kurosawa didn't need a sequel, and that his story was over. I hope this MMV can change the opinions of those people. I personally feel that New Kurosawa is a fascinating character study and retrospective on the life Kurosawa has led and I hope this video does it justice. Second song is Outlaws, also by Green Day. Didn't want to spoil it in the title card.

Hey man, I know this is really late, but I hope this comment reaches you, I found your original kurosawa video out of the blue and decided to give the series a read because of it, because of that I have now read all of fukumoto’s main 7 series (I keep up with kaiji weekly). Anyway I found your kurosawa video when I was in a really dark place and both the music and Kurosawa as a character inspired me to pick myself up and be someone whos proud of their own achievements! That was 2 years ago (time flies). These videos mean the world to me. Thank you so much - Yammy

I am very very glad to hear you say that! I made the original precisely to invoke the feeling of being proud about the small accomplishments you can make in life. And then 2 years later I made this one, mere weeks before I quit my job and moved to another country leaving all my physical possessions behind save for some clothes and my computer. Both these videos are the videos I am most proud of on the channel. It makes me unbelievably happy to hear someone was touched by them as much as I was when I made them and still watch them often.
