I used to love the L'Oreal Lumi foundation 10 years ago! I want to try the Lumi skin tint too but for now I'm on a foundation no-buy.... I do want the CT stick for summer and when you held it up, (shade 5, I believe) it looked so gloriously neutral/green! My baby step to wearing less foundation has been to use a glowy skin tint like the CT Flawless Filter and then a bit of concealer on other trouble areas 🤍

I know you’re opting for more natural makeup at the moment & I think using a glowy primer & concealer is absolutely perfect! 🤩 Yes it’s shade 5 that I have in the CT (amazing memory!!) It really is a great shade & looks lovely topped up with concealer. But you stick to that no buy…it’s a permanent product so won’t be going anywhere! 🥰🩷

I have the L'Oréal Plumping Serum and Lumi Glotion and like them both. I was surprised to find out that L'Oréal owns a lot of other makeup brands including Maybelline NYX YSL and Urban Decay. Another great honest review ❤

In terms of skin tints I’ve been using the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser. The regular version rather than the matte or illuminating one. I’ve found that heavier coverage foundations look really dry by the end of the day because of the winter weather, and I also work in a work shop where there’s a lot of plaster dust which seems to really dry my skin out xx It’s good. I’m enjoying it. Nice and glowy and moisturising and has spf 30. Glides over the skin. It doesn’t offer a lot of coverage though xx

Ooh the LM concealer sounds good. I feel like it’s one of those brands that gets forgotten but is actually one of the OGs. Like Bobbi Brown. I am going in with my By Terry hyaluronic serum concealer or the Bobbi Brown serum concealer and sometimes a corrector as well. I’m super tempted by the Lisa Eldridge new concealer pencil….xx

You are very beautiful in both, but I do like the original best. I have the original one but if I use it every day I think the alcohol dries me out too much. I wonder if we'll get the glowy one in the UK - I might try it if we do. I also like the look of the Laura Mercier Tinted moisturiser. I have rosy cheeks and have always felt self conscious of them and uses fuller coverage foundations. I turn 43 soon and I want to challenge myself to use less coverage and let my skin be seen a bit more ❤

I was hoping this tint would be an improved version of the tinted serum, but it’s not quite! So you’re a 1982 baby too? 😃 We all have parts of our face that make us insecure, but I can guarantee someone else sees your rosy cheeks as beautiful! Good for you to challenge yourself to wear less coverage, I’ve definitely been doing the same. I’ll make sure that I cover skin tints & tinted moisturisers in a video at some point ☺️💜

Honestly, it doesn't look that bad because your skin looks good, but I get what you're saying when you say it's too glowy for you. I don't like this, and I'm not even sure I can find a shade for me, so I'll pass on this. I like the original skin tint enough to ignore the fact that it has alcohol in it 😅 I threw out the dropper and replaced it with the pump that's sold as a replacement for the Estee Lauder double-wear foundation because it fits the dimensions. I mean I got a dupe of that pump on Amazon. I'm sorry you didn't know about this 😱🤭

Hi 😊 I have It cosmetics CC cream in packaging like this. When it's 2/3 used then the problems start. The "bottle" gets the air and you can't pump it out properly like you could if it was without the air, like squished 😂 It's not practical in the morning or whenever 😂 I hope it won't happen with this one but it would be much better with normal bottle and pump 😁 As usually great video and advices! Love it 😊❤

Nope, Carmel... 1. It's too glowy even for me 2. Cannot deal with oxidation (I tend to turn orange, 😂) 3. In 2025, all foundations should minimize pores and texture, not emphsize it! 😳 4. I lhave a long list of foundations/tints I'd love to try and I don't think any of those have these issues...🤞 Also, it's very cold here, too. I'm in NC, but folks north of us and in the northeen plains, it's terrible and many are without power, and are covered in snow and ice! (We have to find reasons to be thankful, right?) I am always thankful for you! ❤❤❤

I do love the Halo glow, but it’s definitely more of a primer and doesn’t give as much coverage as this foundation. The Halo Glow is much more subtle and soft ☺️💕
