how did money make water for the lake?

They used the money on tech so that they needed to take less water. In was in the vid.

They paid farmers in the Imperial Valley to not use water they had rights to use. This left the water in the river and Lake Mead.

I musta missed something somewhere... I remember reading about major construction going to occur to Hover Dam and that the level of Lake Mead had to be reduced to complete the construction. From what I understand, construction is finished, hench the lake level will begin to rise again. When the dam was first completed, it took years to finally fill the lake. If the winter weather is severe with heavy snowpack and heavy rain, it'll begin to refill faster. BUT it won't fill in a single year. Interesting video report but did not state complete facts. More scare tactics instead of stating facts. Please include accurate info in next report.

No they did not lower the level for any construction.

@@tbugher62 I hate to burst your bubble, but you need to do some more research because I distinctly recall (several years ago) the notification discussing the water level having to be lowered to do new "lower level water intake" construction.
