I would Rank Vincent , Prince, Hayes, Reddish in order of importance but Hayes can be very valuable on this team if he buys in to defense and just playing hard. I’d like to see lineups with him and AD on together to see how that works but lakers have a lot of depth will have first half of season to mix and match and second half figuring out what lineups are most effective going into playoffs. As long as AD and Lebron are healthy they are top 5 team.

Look at Sacramento, those coaches are taking player development so much more seriously! I feel quite a few players right now that may get the late bloomer tag when they didn’t even need to. Cavs with Darius G giving him confidence and showing they believe in him and he blossoms…. I feel Cam hasn’t been in that type of situation.

Definitely better than last season but here’s some vital things to keep an eye on and I understand that people won’t read the entire comment but: 1. Can Jax learn to become a better defender? Yes, he can get blocks (usually chasedown) but that’s not the full extent of defense. Curry and Kyrie have gotten chasedown blocks and are still considered below average defense. 2. Tauren Prince was an excellent pick-up. He can score AND he’s a decent defender. Best thing about him? He can bring some good energy to the court. 3. Cam is another excellent pick-up. He’s got so much potential as both a scorer and defender its crazy, but its all RAW. There’s no telling his upside but it’ll definitely be exciting to see. 4. Gabe Vincent. Gabe was a good piece of the Heat’s puzzle towards making the finals and the big question is whether or not he’ll be able to produce the same as he did with the Heat. It’s definitely a strong possibility. 5. The Lakers managed to resign Reeves, Rui AND D’Lo and managed to retain Jarred. Outstanding. The team got younger. The only downside to it all is if the newer guys will fit the system and be consistent on both ends. If LeBron and Davis can stay healthy and if it all works out. I’m saying top 5 for sure. I don’t want to underrate or overrate. I think the team will definitely do better than next season but its all about how the team manages to mold together.

This is a really good free agency period man. Prince, Reddish, DLO, Gabe, Hayes. You got a good solid rim protection back up to AD. Cam and Taurean prince good 3 and D players. Got Vanderbilt as a defensive stopper got DLO to be a starter and Gabe to be a pack up point guard not to mention resigned Reeves and Rui. DLO, Reeves, Bron, Rui, AD is a really solid looking staring 5. Gabe, Reddish, Prince Hayes and Vanderbilt is are all really solid role players to come in and offer either elite, good d with 3 point shooting or some playmaking.
