Holy shit, this was quite a surprise, I actually really like this, beautiful sound, Sounds well sampled, good performances that sound like an actual horn (all the artics sound very consistent) I dig the recordings too. I'd love to see a couple of performance-sourced shorts in the style of Performance Samples, performance-sourcing benefits a lot from drier studios, because there's not a lot of pre-note ambience. Maybe for playable multi-tonguing though the current options are plenty for most horn parts. Performance-sourcing can help to achieve more connected normal shorts as well. And of course a trumpet and tenor trombone later down the line would be killer. Great job!

One thing I really wish for is a short note speed control to make the spiccatos even shorter. Additionally, I'd love more solo French horns so I can create Divisi passages. It's tough to find good French horns that allow for amazing-sounding Divisi. Another feature I'd love is a natural tuning option. Sample libraries often sound too perfect, especially with brass. In reality, pitches can be slightly out of tune, which adds character. Strezov Sampling's French horns capture this well, and I need more libraries like that to achieve a more realistic sound. Other than that, this French horn is intuitive and lovely sounding. That's pretty much all my input.

Great points. For the 'natural tuning option', I immediately have to think of the random pitch options of our Organ - that can be customized and you can set your own % of how more or less random the pitch must be. So we could just put this into the horn library as well. For the speed control, that's more likely to be set using the TimeMachine algorithms from Kontakt and linking the internal playback speed to a slider. Definitely doable for one of the upcoming updates.

Thank you for your honest feedback. It's totally understandable! Currently, Kontakt allows me to quickly develop sample libraries without too much programming. If a new platform arrives as a good alternative to Kontakt, we will definitely make it compatible with it.

This is beautiful! My only concern is the flutter. I can't tell if it was distorting or something. Other than that, it has a beautiful tone that cuts through.

The fortissimo layer of the flutters is indeed quite "rude" sounding, which fortunately is not the same as distorting. The library offers much softer dynamic layers for the flutters, just so you know!
