It's so bad. Like. So bad. The audio was so clearly voiced over. And all the tense moments are just so extra dramatic for no reason? And it's literally like 'oh they hate eachother' and the very next moment they're suddenly all civil as if they only had a minor argument about which socks to put on and they didn't just yell at eachother. ... * puts it on for the fifth time *

I'm confused. Outside of the word "romcom" I see no sign of comedy in this trailer. Is this movie mislabeled as the wrong genre or is this trailer just avoiding the humor? Don't get me wrong, the more queer cinema the merrier, and this seems like it might be an indie production, which is neat, but I'm not sure what's being advertised here. Ironically, subject matter aside, the vibe of this trailer reminds me of one of those sentimentally humorless Christian movies. Which only adds to the confusion. I half expect someone to pray the gay away or something.

Not all trailers are created equal I guess. The film is marketed as a romcom and going by previous films there is humour but as it isn’t out yet I can’t really say much as I haven’t seen it. I do know I’ve enjoyed the previous Xmas lesbian romcom they did (season of love) 😘
