I though when you blew the whistle, your wife would be knocking on your door. Ha...ha..ha..just kidding!😅 By the way, i think all campervans should have a fixed overhead water container with a side outlet.✌️

Definitely a fun video! Have you investigated getting a solar panel to keep your batteries topped up while the car is stationary?

You should use one up lighter to light the interior of the van, mount on the rear shelf.

My question is: did you buy the van as built up camper ? Did you yourself make a camper out of the van?

Also, got me thinking about the interior design. In my opinion, the manufacturers should not have a rear side door on the driver’s side. The ancient VW wagons and the like don’t, and worked well. The bed arrangement (in the video) was impractical, as it obscured the passenger side rear side door. If you want to get out at night, it is a major effort. Probably the ideal sitting position is facing that door - or the rear facing seat you used a lot. Ideally there would be a food preparation/cooking bench that could be accessed from both inside, when seated, and from the outside thru the rear door when standing, maybe it rises as the door shuts, but it is two-sided - front and back. Different designs of the interior for solo use, and for a couple. No more - the vehicle is too small. The solo user would ideally sleep lengthwise behind the driver’s seat. The main “back” of the van residence when camping is the driver sidewall; the main front is the passenger side wall with the mid-door and tarp extending from the vehicle side. So the main cooking area becomes the car rear, accessible from within or without. The living space outside is mainly the passenger side, under the tarp. Maybe the front passenger seat reverses, either by rotating, or like in trains, where the back can pivot. Also, it reminded me a little of my Asian travels in circa 1973; many couples bought small vehicles and drove them from Europe all the way thru to India and Nepal. Tiny Renault R4s and the like. Often using tents as well, staying in caravanserai in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan. Great adventures!
