It does need better back support, however backwards facing in an accident is significantly safer for humans in an accident. It’s why children are recommended to stay backwards facing until they’re too big for backwards facing car seats. It reduces whiplash and the risk of being flung through the windshield during an accident because you hit the seat not flying through glass due to inertia

Public charging stations do not work in the U.S. 70% of the time, 4. People are stealing the public charging cables for the metals inside, 5. Auto insurance for EV is higher then most ICE and as the EV ages the insurance goes up. 6. lets talk about price to buy an EV in the U.S. In my humble opinion until EV's can be as reliable and has the range of a ICE. Unit this happens EV are for the rich and the working man or women.Thanks

From a residential designer's point of view, I feel that when the front seat is in the inverted position, the back of the front seat should be laying down. Rather the the back of the front seat should just move forward and recline slightly in the inverted position while seated facing the rear seat passengers. Otherwise, the L100 is extremely stunning. That's kinda cool, love the rims and the interior. The Greyhound is a bit like the Spirit of Ecstasy. Not too sure about those massive doors, and the steering reminds me of the Mercedes Avatar, but nice looking car.
@mistermatix82412 жыл бұрын
The steering is very reminiscent of the Mercedes AVTR, It seems to be the way automotive designers are focused. A move away from traditional steering wheels and a shift towards the way things are in the home, like remote controls, computer mice, touchscreens, even things like Wiimotes, PS Move controllers etc. My big concern is about reaction speed in an accident, gliding around what is in essence a mouse, unless it's unbelievably accurate, to avoid a collision, I don't know. There's a reason why the good ol' steering wheel (through cosmetic redesign, and evolution, but even so) is still the de facto automotive control system of choice. It's direct, and even though power steering is the biggest development, it's still ultimately driver connected to road.
@ELXABER2 жыл бұрын
@@mistermatix8241 It will be for level 4 autonomous driving, so the car will be doing all the reacting. I think it's the same as the EV which is for transportation while ICE remains for people who want to drive. I see a lot of advancements in transportation but very few for automotive enthusiasts.
@mistermatix82412 жыл бұрын
@@ELXABER I get the autonomous driving, but it's not infallible. Nothing will beat the reaction skills of a good driver/pilot. Autonomy is tested in perfect lab conditions/simulation, where the element of chance is kind of minimised, whereas on a driving lesson/test, you're in REAL WORLD situations, where anything can happen. Simulation vs reality. Also, with autonomous cars, it's removing the fun a bit. To the point where you might as well get public transport. In reality, I don't think we'll truly see the end of the steering wheel, it's tried and trusted.
@ELXABER2 жыл бұрын
@@mistermatix8241 Autonomous would be faster than humans but also as you said, it's not infallible. But absolutely correct about the public transportation, that's what it is, just slightly personalized and semi-private. I'm not sure what the split difference will be between people who just want transportation and those who want to drive, but considering the number of people under age 30 who can drive a stick shift, it seems like a slow move away from the driver.

I really like this car and i think it’s wonderful that Lincoln is celebrating the past and future of transportation. I would really like to see a vast array of micro mobility transportation vehicles available to the public today from the major automakers such as Lincoln. i would just love to be able to buy a really nice city car, that was aerodynamic, covered in solar panels for the body, to run accessories, and could travel at least ten miles per charge for city errands, work related travel and for pleasure. Beautiful car!

This channel shows us vehicles I never even imagined viewing. This long machine is one of them. Technology of this car is superior.

You can see light right through the door gap, I'm sure that's super efficient and lovely to listen to while driving. The doors perking and bouncing open is hilarious, better call Kroger and get there door mechanic to do a tune up,lol.

I’d be so afraid of cracking screens. I love the concept if it’s proven safe enough. It’s going to happen eventually

I wish more vehicles prioritize open space instead of endless compartments. I like this concept for the space. The only reason I love my minivans is because it has no center console so you can walk around when parked like if you need to go to the back to get an umbrella then go out the sliding door it's a breeze. I can change clothes before going somewhere after work, etc. Seats fold into the floor so I can take a nap on lunch break overnight shift in a bed of I want.
