What’s worse about the reverse light is that the description on Lionel’s website list the this as one of the features: “Directional lighting including operating headlight and back-up light on rear of tender”

Curious if you've had an issue with the "selectable" whistle sounds - just picked up the same engine and each time the engine is powered off and back on, it starts up with a different whistle as opposed to the one I selected in the Legacy remote. Would have thought it would remember the selection but then again, things can surprise you. Hoping to avoid sending it back as it is otherwise perfect.

No rivets on the cab roof , how do you change marker lights from green to white .I pick up mine saturday custom run from Mr Muffins trains Monon 107 the steam whistle is great

Great question! Use the “AUX 2” key and you will have access to change the lighting.

Real nice 👍🏻 engine, I have the Southern one Pre-ordered and should be coming anyday now. I’m surprised it doesn’t have a reverse light on the tender

I picked up the Southern 947 version of this as a replacement Xmas train (it's red and green) and it is *fabulous* bang for the buck considering this was retailing for $900USD *without* the smoking whistle 6 years ago. Can recommend to anyone.

Yeah well that’s LIONEL what happened no rear marker lights, no rear back up light what a rip off everybody goes OOH and AH over their new steam whistle steam effect jack up the price and at same time eliminate other details, Like I said that’s LIONEL aggravating!!!
