New Location to watch L-539

It's been awhile since I caught the CN in Herman and they surprised me coming in so quietly! But I guess the hills and trees do a good job of mufflng sound-sometimes! Then I decided to catch them on their way to L'Anse and lastly a place I had not even thought about-I wanted to catch them crossing a bridge but I did think of this one until I was standing on it! I believe alot of the rocks are from when the rock cut was blown up back in 1892! Rumor has it that two men lost their lives in the blast and are buried here somewhere! Hope you like the new location!

Nice catches of the L'Anse local in Herman, at U.SD. 41/Golf Course Road, and at the bridge over the creek, Nancy. I liked the last sequence of the train crossing the bridge. The sound of the creek flowing over and through the rocks was soothing. The gnats were a pain for you though. Thank you for enduring the gnats in order to obtain the video of the L'Anse local going across the bridge.

Indeed one of those locations where you set up for the shot and it will be a while until you get yourself back out of there. Very nice looking straight down the pipeline with the Rock's in a perfect formation. The sound of the gentle Rushing Water plus the old tree laying there that shot is a keeper. On that 29 car cut coming in the sixth car sounded like a dog you hooked up to a fence in the morning and let it just sit there all day barking its head off

Nancy, Ever since I was a young boy I always wanted to fish off from a low train trestle for Trout way way out on the other side of nowhere.. That thumbnail spot looks like my childhood dreams. Now where's my fishin pole and train track map? tnx/ ben would be yooper.
