Missed the live show but grateful for the watch . Saw both Gladiator 2 and Wicked. Enjoyed both. G2 was 7 and wicked was a solid 9.5 for me. Both movies I would see again.

-Jamie out here calling out the Rock for his dunderheaded take on singing along to movies is the best promo I've seen cut in a while! 😂 But I do have to push back as a fellow theatre kid: a musical presented onstage is still a play (otherwise, you wouldn't have to signify a "straight play"), just like one on the big screen is still a movie. 😜 -Loving the Wicked love here! The movie was a 12/10 for me (no problem with backlighting here! Thought even those shots looked spectacular!). Probably my favorite movie of the year, with Fall Guy and Dune 2 following close behind. It's hard to find spaces where my love of superheroes can overlap with my love of musical theatre! So I felt very seen this episode! 💚🩷 -no rating for Gladiator 2. Haven't seen it, don't plan to. Was sad to hear May Calamawy from Moon Knight got cut from it since she might've tipped the scales enough for me to want to give it a try. 😜 -More Alan Tudyk is always a good thing! -Tom King is such a good get, so congrats to Jenna!

I never saw the original Gladiator, but i wasn’t blown away by Gladiator 2, I thought it was fine, but I wasn’t invested in any of the characters, the CGI Sharks looked terrible, but the action was very good.

Just got done being Glicked and I gotta say between both movies these are definitely Oscar winners whether and I hope people get in there and enjoy both movies and STAY OF THEIR PHONES

When I got out of the theater, I thought gladiator 2 was decent, but the more distance I have from the film, it's aged pretty badly for me. It's almost essentially the same plot at he first one, and I dont think Paul Mescal brought the energy and character that Russel Crowe did in the first one. Pedro is kinda wasted in this film and some of the characters feel like they are in a different kind of movie than the other characters. At times, I feel like some of the plot/story is rushed or there were some edits to remove scenes that would have made the film more cohesive. I think this movie would have been better if it wasn't a sequel and a different story all together.
