Stopped by my dealer again today to look for the chalk but it just came off the truck so it will be next week. I'm almost afraid to see it because I might do something stupid..! Then I jumped back on my '18 and all was right in the world again... Sorry you haven't had any decent weather, hope it gets better soon. I could have ridden in shirt sleeves today here in the desert. 18 degrees this morning when I left for work (car says 15). Told the little woman Happy Valentines Day and bye-see-ya-at-the-end-of-the-day. She mumbled something unintelligible from underneath the covers. Well, it was very early! Chrome-Dark-Chrome-Dark, both look great to me, but I guess I'm going to have to wait to see them in real life to know which one I like best.

+The Biker Bug Well Sir I guess this video tells you exactly why the dealership gives Shawn 2 demo bikes. A customer and a.. friend rides 200 miles to come and sit on the new Spyder ..... that gentleman knows full well if he buys a Spyder from Procaliber it's assembled correctly and 100% before it leaves the shop, and if there's a problem, they have a guy that will sort it out. My guess is Shawn 'sells' as many bikes for that dealership as there top salesman does....maybe a whole lot more.... and what did that gentleman do after he sat on the Spyder? He ordered one right off the bat with a load of accessories....that demo bike has paid for itself already....the only change I'd make if I was the guy that owned the dealership is, I'd 'gift' him a Ryker Rally...a mistake I thought 'pulling that back' to sell it, but then I don't know all the details.

Paul Lee - no doubt Shawn is a huge marketing machine for ProCaliber. Personally if I was the owner I would gift him an Indian Challenger so he would kick the Harley habit.... 🤣😆, seriously. Keep doing what you do Shawn, looking forward to the 2020 S1000XR, vids.

+The Biker Bug I don't think Shawn would ever 'kick the Harley habit'....but I think a Challenger Dark Horse, or even a Chief Dark Horse sat in his 'Shop' would 'promote sales' and, give him something to think about! Heck he never rides that SGS.... To be honest I'm not sure how the 2 demo bike thing works, maybe as it's two different franchises / markets etc. Incidentally, if you are into touring, a channel called A Brit, a Blond and a Bike have some nice videos on an XR in NZ. They have just swopped it for a GS1250 as his partner felt it a bit too 'sporty'....or, maybe he was riding it a bit too sportily .... :-)

Been saving to buy a 18 or 19 RT L….The new RT L looks and seems even better.....Your thoughts on buying a new 18 or 19 model vs buying a 20 model RT L.....Is the 20 model worth the 27k price because a 18 or 19 can be had at 20k......big difference....let us buyers know....Thx Marck

I'll bet Bruce's Red Dark Edition is going to look awesome! I'd like to see someone take the Chrome pieces on one and do a "Smoked Chrome" on it. There was a trend about 10-15 years ago in the Jeep community where smoked chrome was becoming popular. I think it would look good on some of these dark scoots. Happy Fri-Yay! Did you get the updated parts that didn't align on the saddle bags? "Jim's Motor Trike" mentioned finding the same thing on his new one (same color), he had trouble with mounting the back rest too. I think he would appreciate any advice.

Will be going for a look see soon. Just one thing.... How far is your commute to work? Am I right in thinking its nearly 250 miles there and then same home each night?

+Nicholas Kemp I think it's 60-65 miles about an hours drive or a little more depending on weather and traffic. Procaliber is in Vancouver, Washington, and Shawn and Kelly live near Toledo, Washington.
