New Louisiana election laws creating challenges for voters with disabilities

Mr. Bizer, I'm disabled and the same concerns haunts me as well. I do not talk to anyone about politics or religion, especially my family. I have a right to privacy when voting and a right to not let people know I'm voting at all. I could not mail in my ballot without a witness signature so I called the Lafourche parish clerk and told her I don't want people to know about my voting and she said she'd sign as witness and she did, but that defeats the purpose of absentee voting. I'd be willing to join this suit, it should be class action.

Hopefully we will be. Republicans didn't realize that almost all states are purple by slim margins, I live in Louisiana what it has never been a red state, they just want people to think that what their ignorance stops them from casting what they think is a hopeless vote. When a tax increase on middle class was on the ballots here 3 votes stopped it from passing, I was one of those votes and the other 2 on the fence were people I know.

They require two different witnesses in Oklahoma. Its part of why I chose early voting & then had to spend over 2 hours in line until my back was killing me.
