Been meaning to get a scope to start with now my understanding is good enough. Nice video as always.

FWIW, it is great that you do not accept from companies requiring to review your videos but the moment you put your affiliate links to a product review it is almost impossible to be completely un-biased.

Amazing that an inexpensive, pocket size device, can provide the functionality of your three necessary home lab instruments. Nice case as well.

Thanks! I was really impressed with the functionality for the price, and the case is a plus for portability.

I got their solder station on your recommendation, so far I like it! If I didn't already have a 100Mhz Owen HDS2102S, I might have gone for this!

Man, I have Flukes, Hioki, OWON, DreamSource Labs scopes etc. This device takes care of most basic everyday functions, very rare would I need the speed and precision of more expensive instruments. What really sets these cheaper stuff apart is safety.....
@jutukkaКүн бұрын
And in addition to that safety thing, very often poor or non existing support, i.e. bug fixes, firmware updates, software updates etc. Triggering problems at higher frq or low level signal, DC level drifting, shorter than expected battery operation time etc. Usually, if something seems to be too good to be true...

OWON make a similar tool, I have one which goes to 200MHz its very impressive. Very good for vehicle repair.

can you export waveform data in a csv file or something or does it just export a screenshot?

Eddie, do you know if there is a data accusation application to download data from the meter?

G,day from Sydney Australia. I'd prefer a curve tracer for field work. Then Change the through hole components for new. 🌏🇦🇺
@KissAnalog22 сағат бұрын
Great to hear from Australia! Do you use the X-Y function for curve trace?

@KissAnalog Don't actually own the input current device. Great way to pinpoint a short circuit, then measurement of Hz. 🌏💫

I don't trust the battery rating. Also... that looks like a LiPo battery. Not sure I trust that battery... in the long run either.... in the sense it may swell (they do)... and get punctured. When that happens LiPo sometimes starts to burn. I realize, that kind of Li battery is used in a lot of devices. But, I wonder if the battery has been robustly certified. Just when the house is paid for... don't want it burning down.

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, LiPo type batteries are not as safe as the LiFePo4 batteries, but they are used in our phones, laptops, and most e-cars. I don't like to leave batteries charging by themselves - and that's when many of them fail. My laptop batteries start to swell after a few years, so It is probably a good idea to open this every couple of years - if used a lot.

All true, but given I have a house chock full of Bluetooth speakers, phones, tablets, laptops, and portable test gear, what's one more questionable battery? Lol
