I’m so glad that you shared your weight loss in the video, as before it even began, I wanted to find a way to ask a rather personal question. If this is not something you wish to comment on, I totally understand! Kiva, in the past you have shared a health issue of yours with us, and I was wondering if you have experienced a positive change with your arthritis due to the weight loss, and if you take precautions with your hands when exercising? I’m experiencing the unfortunate development of joint swelling, large knuckle issues (yuck, and ouch!), and am finding issues, even with gentle yoga. I don’t know anyone else with this issue to ask. I’m thinking things like applying heat or cold, before or after exercising, or weight loss. FYI, you look great, and so does the new bathroom!

Hi! I’m always happy to answer questions about this. Honestly, my pain hasn’t really improved with weight loss. The drugs I take help the most. When exercising, I just listen to my body. A lot of the times, I can’t grasp certain machines, so I just won’t do them or find a modification. I use a lot of heat to soothe my hands!

Been following Dr Berg on internet and he stresses doing intermittent fasting (IT) is key in keeping disease in remission. IT has helped greatly. Please peruse his video, “Dr Berg How to put Autoimmune Disease into Remission.” It’s helpful to view with an open mind. A towel warmer. I’m the towel warmer when my little granddaughter visits. She asks me “is my towel warm”. I used to put it in the tumble dryer. It’s not like her Mammy did that for her!! 😮🥰

I’ve had the towel warmer a few months now and I love it because my bathroom is kind of cold in winter morning months. I do look forward to summer and not having to use it as much. I also have a gray squaty stool that’s cute, but because my bathroom is so small, I have to have that clear acrylic one!

I’m so glad I watched this - I hadn’t thought to look for a clear acrylic version of the squatty potty. My husband and I are about to start a mini renovation of our primary bathroom (which is the smallest bathroom in the house unfortunately!) and I think switching out our current white plastic squatty potty for a clear acrylic one will really help keep the space feeling as open and spacious as possible! We are going to be putting in new floor tile so it also will be nice to have an option that won’t cover up the new tile!

I got thick Italian glass trays from Amazon for our bathroom - they're clear so we can see the granite countertops and they are big enough to hold everything we need on the counter, neatly. We've used a toilet paper stand in our guest bathroom for more than a decade because it allows us to put the TP where we need it - no contorting to wherever it was put. I love the idea of the towel warmer! A boyfriend of mine used to put a blanket in the dryer to warm it up for me (what a sweetie!) but I like the towel warmer more because it's closer to the bed! You're looking GREAT btw!
