Also do a max6 with a big tp motor. Tp motors are expensive, but once you use one you will understand why. They are amazing.

Ok Big Dogg… use those backflips man. I’ve seen you have a lot of success, as have I. Best for price and functionality. Power wise, I built a MoCast and used a Max6 with Hobbywing 1650kv. I run 8 cell setups in these trucks and really like them. 1520 or 1717 series 1650kv Castle motors with the MMX8s or even a Max5 for the esc. You can run (2) 4500 4 cell packs and fit the Arrma 6s truck battery holders. Just a thought lol. If you need your esc connector installed we are authorized Castle/Hobbywing dealers and will work with you. Thanks.

My question is why?? I did my xmaxx 1100kv because u make me laff so much,then u back to stock my she's a beast whit the vitavon diff ring gear and 29,54.then I just completed my 1st kit build whit the Teckno MT410 and I love that car,now u doing a kraton xl whit all love an passion,hey my favorite car from all the cars I have K6 has been so reliable.but if I ended up building a XL K6 whit all good goodies is your fault 🤣😅🤣😅🤣😅🤝.all fun man I love seeing u enjoy the hobby like my self. I went back to all stock because I was having a lot of odd problems with that XMAXX it was absolutely driving me crazy so I figured I would start there and see what the issue is between the way it handled and the cutting out I had to start somewhere, and just two days ago I finally figured out what it was and it turns out it was a bad receiver.

Hi mate great looking build with my beast kraton I'm running a max 5 but with 1250kv motor on one but my other kraton has max6 and that's great. Another thing is that I put my shim under the bearings it just makes it safer and easier putting the differentials in the casings. And yes a bit of piss farting around at first but better in the long run. And a bit of soft rubber under esc and batteries to save them from the concussion of hard landings. Can't wait to see the finished product 👍🦘😁😁🤣. Chad's going to like this otherwise just kick him in the tenders 🥜😳😭🤣.

I just did a build like this but completely from scratch (because I'm an idiot). It's been awesome but I've killed 2 servos on big air jumps. Watched your video and you mentioned the servo sitting on the chassis kills them. I immediately ran out to the garage and sure as sh!t mine is sitting on the chassis. Thanks for the info Bars!!!!

That is gonna be a sweet build....they look so good all new and clean....almost hate to drive them, but that's the fun part...I used M2C extended hex hubs on a Xmaxx with stock A arms and helped it out, I didn't want the wide Xmaxx arms to wide I think, but that's just my opinion....but love watching this build can't wait for part 3....👍👍

The reason why the difference in price is hot racing is 6061 and vitavon 7075 t6 Aircraft and you get the whole case

We built also a Kraton XL. We love this car. We use the body from Hobao MT Plus. The propotion match perfectly.

1/8th ford raptor body fits it just some trimming needed in the rear, i’ve used it 3 times so far it’s my favorite body! also i have the hobbywing 1650kv max 6 combo in mine with 19/50 gearing and it is very fast pushing about 60mph highly recommended gearing

Awesome vids and build. Question. You said you were putting RPM arms on the back. But putting the stock ones in front. I prefer the stock ones myself (minus the red EXB ring on the ends). I run the indestructible savage xl body with the stock Kraton roll bar on my xl build. It doesn't cover the front bumper like you were hoping for but it looks really clean.

Yeah I was looking around at some of those bodies they’re great because obviously they don’t get destroyed however I don’t like certain things about them.

I put a 2021 Silverado body on my xl. You can see it in my latest video. Fits pretty good. All maybe the fireteam tires. That may or may not be a little insight to what I am doing soon...
