You need elemental and status damage to be equal to get the maximum. Blaze frost or shock follow this algorithm -> psi * elemental * status. So in mathematical terms u can take it as 2 * (X*Y), so to get the maximum damage u need X and Y to be the same.

the build is almost at maximum , at this state of the phase ...u did good. Just one addition ... the new "snowsprite" (or how its called , i mean the Yeti one :D) deviant works very good with it, specially if u have the gloves ... 🙃

we''ve been killing weavers on world 1, since 48 hrs ago roughly and the weaver was taking status damage just not ice from what i saw, (shows the debuffs) and it does take weakness/crit dmg you have to shoot the broken arm to do good damage until it falls off, and than have to shoot the glowing parts for extra damage. our servers only used guns to kill it so far.

@@meytheawesomeness2892 aaaah so they rotate the snow weaver will take blaze dmg and the fire weaver will take frost dmg i think....kinda obviouse mofo is made of snow so frost aint gonna cut it. BUT a nice detail there from the devs XD

120% pull to center, is THE best item for frost vortex, there is a mod you can use the more enemys in vortex more damage your vortex does PLUS bosses get stuck and lose their AI combat "meaning they stand there and look at you". great AOE + damage.

Or you can just run Polar Jelly which also pulls enemies in and does the same effect

@@Ecks520 polar jelly sucks compair to that 120% pull and it pulls to dead center of frost for max damage 100% of the time, that jelly you need to aim good for max effect.

Im currently running 4x shelter, 1 bastile, and the Stealth Walker. It absolutely destroys mobs especially with the burst dmg from crystals. Im currently running a rapid 2x elemental ar but going to test heavy style 2x elemental so i have more ammo to trigger the crystals. I also run 6% trigger chance on my mod so vortexs trigger way more often

If I'm going by last season, the blue mod for chest that has Status Dmg+12% is ideal.

Pretty sure you're wrong about how your weapon mod works. It doesn't double how many times you proc frost vortex - it increases the limit you can have at a time by one. I think base is like 2 or 3 at a time, so that increases it to 3 or 4

8:25 when you cover the weapon mod, it says +1 Frost Vortex, not +1 Ice Crystal, yet you say you get two crystals instead of one? Does it make a crystal every 1.5s per frost vortex on the target you hit then? Otherwise you wouldn't need more than 1 Vortex on your target with this weapon, you just need to hit an enemy within just one vortex every 1.5s to generate an ice crystal and shoot it to create a burst plus 4 homing missiles right?

Frost vortex and the ice crystal are two different things vortex spawns a vortex on the ground or at there feet ice crystals I believe are made by the weapon perk

need and honest opinion of this new armor vs the heavy duty armor with the frost vortex specialized top. I'm currently running frost vortex for the first time and need to make sure I am running the best armor

I don't think that weapon mod works like that. I forgot the max vortex u can have but say u have 2 max normally it'll allow you 3. But you still have to proc it. Weapon has a low proc chance and it's mechanic seems base off shooting crystal for burst damage then sustain from vortex.

This is correct, however, you can more than double the proc chance by using suffix mods on mask and weapon that have the 'Frost Vortex Trigger Chance' attributes. It will be best in slot for sure since the base trigger chance is only 10%.

@@godspeedfx you cant "more then double" the trigger chance since all trigger chance on mods is based on the base chance on the weapon. if you got 10% on a mod with 10% base on the weapon that means your new total would be 11%.

The armor can be good, but you'll have to build up your heat and cold resist MASSIVELY for it to not wreck you.. If it's -15C and you put this on, it becomes the equivalent of -35C, which means it'll be rough. You dont only deal a lot more damage, but you also suffer the impacts of the cold a LOT more.

It isn't worth calibrating until tier 5,it would just be a waste of Stardust source. You can only change stars of blueprint of Same rank so you need a legendary of 5 star to change another legendary blueprint to 5 star

@@jigglypancakes1679 Yeah, you can upgrade stars - exchange them, I see no problem with it, and also, on 30+ lvl its pretty shame, about up to +4 it is without any cost of stardust, only metal, and EL. Also if making a video and want to see how amazing the gun is +0 and no stars - is very wrong for that.

Yeah it doesn't cause any issues in the game. Frost AOE has been around since the start.
