I would like to know why people have such wide windrows when they cut hay. If you have a Tedder. Keep your windrows as tight as you can let the field dry out between the windrows the next day go Ted the hay wait a day rake it and bale it. Then your not driving on the windrows.

Once you figure out the new machine. You will be asking your self why you waited so long to do it.

I just bought similar unit but older. Hw325. Sickle head not disc. Just learning it too. I think u r correct about pressure for the head. More pressure. Lighter the head on the ground

Aim for 150 lbs or so for header weight (I think that's what it recommends) when lifting up on the left or right side....too light it might bounce or not stay on the ground, too heavy it won't float across the ground as easy.

@@farming4g yes. I’ll found the book under seat. Will show everything in there to start with. Fine tune from there. I see mines missing a bunch of shims under the left side gaurds (low knife). Not sure how these gaurds are even tbh

Hello, my brother. I give the cows silage from the silage of the lentils and figs. The cows are good on the farm where I work. My life is yours, my brother. Continue at the top. My brother, welcome to Morocco. 👍👍👏👏👋👋👋

Swathers defeat farm math: 6 mph x 16 ft cut = 96 acres an 8-9 hr day. That swather will cut 110 in the same time as the turn around are so much sharper and the hydrostatic lets you push for more mph. And you do not get tired as you never turn around. Keep a battery powered leaf blower with you in the cab to blow out radiator and shields in dusty conditions

What header rpm do you run in grass? We seem to run 2700-3000 depending on how lite the grass is but seems like that way to fast for my liking

What I've found on new holland discmower, if you just lower the flapper, the hay comes out so fast that it plasters the hay to the ground and air don't get under it. If you spread the wings and leave the flapper up it lofts the hay out the back and it sets on top of the stubble better.
