In this video, we explore the innovative concept of magnetic nasal strips designed to improve airflow and enhance breathing. These strips offer a promising alternative to traditional adhesive nasal strips, using magnets to effortlessly lift and open the nasal passages.
While the idea is groundbreaking, there's one major drawback-the adhesive isn't strong enough to keep the magnet securely in place. Join us as we explore the benefits and challenges of this new technology and discuss potential solutions for making these strips more effective. After trying many internal and external nasal dilators, I'm now using the Intake magnetic clip. 1. Wash my nose 2. I use an alcohol prep wipe to thoroughly clean the outer surface of my nose. 3. Once dry, I apply the stickers, rub the perimeter first, then very lightly on the metal disk with a finger behind it inside my nose. if you press hard on the disk the perimeter of the sticker will be pulled in and slack will form. 4. Wait 3-5 minutes for the sticker to bond to the nose. 5. Put the plastic clip on. Note: When removing the plastic clip, slide it forward to prevent pulling the strip off. The strips take a bit to of use to get the process down. Give it another try. Thanks for the video! 😎👍

I started using Intake and it's working for me, as well as Breathright strips. Breathrite strips were stripping the skin of my nose. The stickers last all night for me.

I tried Uncle’s Bleep Eclipse magnets in my pillows mask, and now I’m going to try using my Bleep halo magnets for my Intake nasal dilator. I’m a sucker for a repurposing experiment. Thanks Uncle Nicko!

Last night I tried Nicko’s way and it worked just okay, so tonight I’m going to try using the original Intake magnets and put Stuart’s halo magnetic tapes on top of Intake magnets to keep the permanent Intake nose strip more firmly in place.

I've basically tried all nasal dilators on the market including the magneto (I combined them with and internal dilator that I put magnets on so I was not forced to stick anything on my nose and magnets where coated so no harm to the nose wall then standard internal dilators. What happends though is that my congestion is further in to the nose so it do not really help when I get congested, without congestion though boom. Nasal rinse fucks up my nose since its to sensitive after surgery, so its random play if I am in luck to sleep not congested (cpap works well and do not want to put in extra pressure or to little if its fixed pressure if I get congested and bye bye mask of in order to be able to breath).. Also have elevated bed. Am up for food allergy tests and so on after the summer to see if something is bringing me extra congestion (heart burns for instance not good, gases goes up and down and up adds congestion)

So are you planning to reach out to the bleep sleep company and ask for magnetic stickers that do work better with the other product? The bleep ones look pretty big for what you're repurposing but if bleep sleep offered a similar product in the USA 🇺🇸 market I'd try it

I found brushing my teeth, flossing, and using a light mint mouthwash at least four hours before going to bed rather than just before, helped me to breathe better. I suspect it's less of mucus generation. Maybe that's something worth trying. On the plus side, at least I won't be seeing my dentist soon 🙂

I always wipe my nose with metho, then dry it off which makes the other nasal strips stick all night. Might work with these

I had the same problem with Bleep's halos--I'm in the 5% of people (per Stuart) that the 3M adhesive doesn't work on. Love the concept, but I'm poking down whistling leaks around the edges of the stickers all night.

Seems like that would be way more expensive than just buying stick on nasal strips. If it's not reusable I'm not interested. Same with the bleep. I don't like the idea of needing to buy a constant stream of the adhesives to wear every single night. It's like having a sleep subscription.

Is it possible to adjust your cpap so you can sleep with one blocked nostril?
@NotMyActualName_
@NotMyActualName_ 12 күн бұрын
I find personally that when I have one blocked nostril the cpap forces it open within a few minutes. Even if I'm congested the cpap does a good job basically opening everything up. This is why cpap mode is better than apap mode. You start right at your pressure and don't mess around with ramping up and down. The early pressure really opens everything up for me.

@@NotMyActualName_ wow that's amazing for you! I recently changed mask since I felt my other was giving me more blockage. Currently on apap mode but it quite fixed with range from 8 to 10 (have not gone over 8.9 so far).

I invented my own nasal dilator. It works so well I can run or ride my bike for as long as I want without ever opening my mouth. Costs less than 10 cents to make and I can put one out in about 3 minutes. Also it lasts forever, no tape or magnets or glues.

I tried patenting it to sell but was advised that the fortune I would spend would not cover me if the design was copied so I just make one off's. I might see if Nicko would make a video where he could show people how to do it.

witch hazel wipes are elite for prepping and i've tried it on my nose, my wife and also my brother and they don't work mate. I'm sorry but they don't stick. Unless i just got 2 dud packs. There are also no instructions on the box or inside the box that state you even need to clean your nose. I know this because i've been doing this gig for 20 years but the average Jo would have no clue

I'll take your word for it and give it a go. I noticed after a few minutes, one corner does start to peel back but not the entire strip. But I haven't slept with it on for hours. Anyway mate appreciate the tip. I'll definitely update you on the witch hazel.
