I love many of these products. The foundation has quickly become one of my day to day foundations. The Too Faced concealer does have a slight satin finish, which I like because it doesn't look dry and cakey on the skin and it is easy to mattify with a touch of powder. The Shape Tape you don't have much room to work with, like you do this. That Rimmel palette is nothing like the other magnify shadows, which I didn't like at all. It blends beautifully and has great pigment (excellent dupe for the Heat palette.) You reviewed some goodies! Your skin looks gorgeous!

I want to give you big kudos on actually trying the products for awhile before coming back to us. I find first impressions to be some of the videos I dislike the most. They provide me with absolutely no valuable information by the end. It’s not an accurate depiction if a person is going to really enjoy the product. I love the Becca be the light palette. I am on the fair side and it’s perfect for me. I’m 45 years old so I don’t want crazy highlight. I love the natural glow that it gives me. It seems like when everybody’s reviewing highlighters they have to be these BAM in your face highlights. There are lot of us who do not want that crazy BAM highlight. I see people in real life trying to pull off these IG or KZbin highlight looks and it doesn’t look so great to me. I think people will look back on that trend and wonder why? Like we did with blue eyeshadow in the 80’s. We are thankful there wasn’t the internet for the 80’s trends to haunt us forever lol

Yes you are right about the TF concealer. It has an ever so slight sheen which I like for under eye and subtle highlighting ... but I definitely don’t want any sort of sheen when I’m concealing acne or dark spots on the skin. For that reason I don’t find it to be as multi purpose as marketed. Every concealer is multi purpose if you want to buy 3-4 shades: a highlight, contour, a skin tone match to spot conceal, and maybe a fourth if you don’t want your under eye to be as light as your highlight. No one has time for that!

I love love love the Rimmel Magnifeyes spice edition. No fallout great blendability and superb pigmentation. I watched Zabrena use this and Naked Heat palette and we had to guess which one which was which. Everyone thought the Rimmel one was the UD palette.

I use the same exact pencil under my eyes and even in the waterline, then I go over it with a deeper shade just like you did. I love these pencils, I also have the green one. I am so thrilled that they are coming out with more colors like these. Urban Decay has so many shades, but I cannot spend $20 on an eyeliner pencil. I need to buy backups of these in case they discontinue them.

The higher end mascaras that I love are Superhero and Lights Camera Lashes. The small $12 size of Superhero works just fine for me and I get a couple of Tarte's LCL every year when they're on sale for $10 at Ulta. Then I always keep a drugstore mascara on hand.

Rimmel has come out with three more pallets since the spice... a crimson which is more of a pink red versus the spice being orange-red, a violet which is freaking gorgeous, and another one called Jewel rocks that I have yet to see... there's a spot for it but it's always gone. I'm not sure if it hasn't actually been distributed to my locations yet or if everybody snatching it up as soon as it hits the rack.

Emily, I remember you mentioning the Elf lash curler years ago on your channel. I have recently rediscovered that little gem. Oh. My. Word. Why did I ever stop using that curler?! The new Too Faced concealer definitely is more hydrating than the Tarte Shape Tape and if you don't set it - I do find that it can get dewy throughout the day. However when i use it with the Too FAced peach perfect matte loose powder - the combo is magic. It won't crease on me AT ALL when i use that powder with that concealer.

I looove the Born This Way concealer! I really like the finish of the concealer. I set it with a tiny bit of powder, but even before powder I don't find it to be too satin. I don't wear any other foundation so the finish blends into my skin better than 100% matte concealers like Shape Tape. It also has more coverage than the Tarte Creaseless Concealer.

The real techniques body sponge with the dermablend body makeup and translucent powder 🙌🏼. I’ve tried that sponge on my face and felt it was too cumbersome. But for anyone using body makeup it’s life changing!

Hi Emily. Love your videos! A while back you send you thought that the viseart amethyst palette was perhaps the best purple eyeshadow palette and I've had it in my Sephora bag for quite some time. Now that ABH is coming out with Norvina and it looks so good I am wondering if I need both palettes or if you think they are similar enough that just one is fine. Your help would be most appreciated!
