Amazing round up Jen! The Chanel Blanc perle shade is very similar to a shade in Pat McGrath divine rose mothership palette called iridescent pink 003. I used to wear that shade all the time so skipped on Blanc perle and bought Jade facette instead.

Thank you for the tip on how to use the Lilac mascara! I’m going to try it. My fav lilac/light purple eyeliner is Gucci Amethyst 💜 a lot of purples are too dark, but Gucci amethyst is actually a light purple that pops!

Hi Jennifer! Thank you for this great video! Love-love-love your makeup here - your eye look enhances your almond eye shape and your eye color. (I now plan on getting that mascara, along with the Gris Paris and Blanc Perle shadows.) I am as fair as you (but cooler toned) so the Chanel Mauve face trio is the only one I would consider - I will have to try it in-store. I look forward to your upcoming videos - comparing skin tints and single eyeshadows. That TF lipstick is among the most flattering reds I have seen on you - the blush is also beautiful (I thank my lucky stars it’s too warm for me😅). PS: The discontinued Orchid Soleil lipstick shade is absolutely gorgeous! My favorite lipstick shade of all time!

Fun video! I love how you wore the lilac mascara. Great idea. I do similar things with colored liners and shadows on the lower lash only. It’s an easy fun way to wear color. Looking forward to your big single eyeshadow video. I am definitely considering the Chanel especially the Jadeite shade. I also love the red lip. Beautiful warmer red tone. But it’s not for me because of the scent. Thanks for always including information about scents in makeup. It really helps me pare down my wishlist!❤

I love the Chanel mauve on u. I love the Tom Ford packaging & the colors on you. I’m definitely picking that up. I believe that if something brings u joy, that the price point is secondary. To me, happiness is more important than the money, even if it’s overpriced. The lilac mascara on the lower lashes is genius. I don’t know why that never crossed my mind. Thanks for the tips.

Hi Jen, Surratt has an eyeliner you looking for. It’s called Auto-Graphique Liner Poupre. It’s darker than the eyeshadow but I assume you don’t want a light colour so this one in my opinion it’s a good match. Thanks for sharing!🙂

The eye look is what I prefer if I want to look really polished, the bright pearl lid. Under eyeglasses it is so flattering! So, I will plan to pick up the Pearl at some point. The Chanel mauve one you bought is the only shade that isn't orange, but I think the Mauve blush from last fall with the CC logo is so close. Got lucky, Chanel sent me a VIP sample in the mail of the new Comete fragrance. I think it smells like a deeper No. 5. It will layer just fine with the No. 5 hair mist.

I have the deep rose gold and I am medium skin tone with freckles . But like you said , that one also has a red undertone and so it looks just like I look after being in the sun .. I LOVE it and I am COOL undertones and didn’t think it would work ..I am going to get the deep Maude too ..

I can’t wait for new eyeshadow singles because they’re great for summer when I want a minimal look. A bright pop of color is so great for brightening the eye! BTW, I have to thank you for recommending OleHenriksen lip treatment. I love the Rhode beauty lip treatment, but I have to buy direct w/shipping and this is a good substitute. I still think the Rhode beauty lip treatment is a little thicker and more cushiony, but I like the OleHenriksen scents and colors too.

The TF blush is a beautiful formula but to me its more peach than mauve. It pulls warm on me, more terracotta.

Jen, I've just seen that Dior is releasing eye-liners in a series of shades including Lilac, Mint, Coral and Pale Pink. These ones are not matte, yet some of the deeper shades are. As pretty as they look, I'm trying to be loyal to my 'low-buy with exceptions' and these are not an exception. When in my late teens/early 20s, I was faithful to two particular eye-shadows in a cream and cool-toned brown satin. Although I had other shadows, it was these two that were my faithful go to shades. I'd use a liner and mascara which was all that I needed. Even when I went to Europe for a few months, these two shadows were all I took with me. I was there to have fun, not fuss around with make-up. I don't go for singles anymore as I have endless palettes to dip into. I love using the ND Trichrome Palette for its array of muted light to mid-tone shades and put either a subtle multichrome or shimmer shade over the lid when I want a toned down look. I have far too many palettes I can use instead of buying singles. Singles do make sense for those who have a certain dress code in regards to work or just are not that interested in too many shades. I've always loved coloured mascara, yet the trick is to get one that's dark enough to look deep from a distance but when close up the colour will show when turning certain ways, so the lashes still appear long. Shiseido have a good range of colours such as green, purple, blue which I own, plus others from Chanel and the brick shade from Dior. I even went out on a limb and bought the Rabanne Topper in a silver/gold combination. It does look rather nice when subtly applied, yet can look over done if too much is added. The Chanel Byzance Quads each had a topper shade, yet can be worn as a shadow when stamped on. The only time I've worn a topper shade is from Baroque to make the white appear like snowflakes over the colour I choose to put over the lid. When I use the others, I put this sparkly shade in the inner corner and sweep it upwards over a third of the lid like a shadow. You could be thinking of the metallic shade in the Prada Palettes that are very creamy? I'm really not a fan of using topper shades, so probably can't help you think of the one you're trying to remember. It will come to you eventually. Lilac is certainly taking over as the 'in colour' of make-up/fashion. When I think of how many I have in eye-shadows from ABH Nouveau, Chanel Delices, Prada, Lethal etc., it's mind blowing! For anyone wanting a lilac blush and can't pay for Dior, Lethal's is much cheaper and performs as the best Glow Blushes I've ever tried. It will definitely depend on skin-tone as to who will be able to wear this shade as blush. I even have the Chanel Lilac Baume Essential and a few Highlighters in this shade too. I'm quite disappointed that Dior wasn't able to pull off the shade and instead all look pink, no matter the product. There is always the Rabanne Love Balm in Toxic Lips which does show up as lilac on my rather pale lips. Its nice and moisturising too. By the way, your earrings do not look pink when against your hair. I would never have guessed they would be pink. The lipstick you're wearing looks a deep orange to me and I love it! It's pushing red, yet looks as if it hasn't quite made it yet. Now, we'll be requesting eye swatches of all your Chanel Singles, get ready! 🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

You look stunning Jennifer! Personally I would refer to some of these brands as indie luxury. It floors me how brands like RMS can release bronzers that are made in Italy & for 6.5 g are priced at $35 & $28 for the refill. Which granted, it is priced similarly to Gucci & YSL bronzers but the quality is just as good for an indie brand, if not better! I’ve been using the RMS & it’s amazing . It’s all I’m reaching for. And I prefer purchasing a smaller pan bronzer, if I go through it, I can purchase the refill. 🤷🏻‍♀️I’ll have to look more closely at the shades of the Chanel singles. I am fair as well and the gray shadow you used is beautiful.

I really wish Chanel would bring back the Ombres Contraste Duo shadows. They were so good, could be worn separately or layered one over the other to create a third shadow. I still have them and prefer these to single shadows. I have a huge amount of the Chanel single shadows and now I realize I never wore most of them and are brand new, but the mattes of old are a better formula, even if shades are not even close. Maybe we’ll get the duos again.
