New Makeup Worth Trying

Trying New Makeup, is it worth it…
I did some shopping at Sephora and Ulta and some new makeup products looked promising. A new foundation by RMS was released and all the claims looked just right. A new blush color by Persona Cosmetics in a gorgeous bubble gum pink shade. I’m also mentioning and using makeup that I think are worth checking out if you’re in the market for a new concealer, soft contour/bronzer, and mascara.

I love when both Milana and Allie Glines like the same products. That's how I know they're good! And YIKES, I usually can't tell when a foundation looks bad on her on camera but this was pretty bad

I wouldn’t necessarily blame the foundation for breaking up. If you have peeling skin, the skin is going to push out the peeling throughout the day which could be why the foundation looks broken up. Maybe try it again once the peeling is complete?

Thank you for mentioning the crepeyness under the eyes. I really thought I’d just have to deal with it. I had no idea the powder I was using could be the culprit.

I have the same problem, but I've found it's also affected by how I apply the powder! The best way for me is to use a powder puff (the thin, triangular ones you can get from Amazon are great for this) and dip it into the powder. Then rub the puff onto the back of my hand to kind of push the powder into it, so that there's no loose particles at all. Then I lightly press that onto my undereye and it looks sooo smooth - all day! I think really packing the powder into the puff and getting rid of the excess makes for a smoother layer. There aren't loose particles sitting on top of the skin, so it doesn't look so dry and crepey. 😁

I laughed when you said the lip liner was your lip colour, imo it’s no where near the same and, because you applied it to your whole lips it completely changed the colour of the lipstick. When you swatched the lipstick it was so pretty, when you applied it it looked so different 😳

My face is dry so I only use setting powder under my contour to keep from splotching. Also, WHY put lip LINER all over the lips? Hence the name... lip LINER? NOT lipstick... Just curious... 🤷‍♀️

Milana why don’t you treat that area of your chin/jawline instead of constantly trying to get foundation to cover it? Dermalogica Multivitamin Thermofoliant to exfoliate and then The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA (to keep the cost down) every night before bed…? We can’t see any dry spots by the way but you mention it often 😕 XX
