Mancera Aoud Vanille is a great and cozy winter fragrance.

Yeh it was but apparently it was reformulated,allegedly not affecting the performance much.However affecting the smell now its supposedly far more artifical vanillic.However Montales Dark Vanilla is like the original version very underrated one of the best masculine not generic dark vanillas with leather amber oud sandalwood and spicy.

Mancera and Montale is a house i have the most fragrances from in my humble collection. In my eyes and for my budget they are fragrances that don't quiet break the bank, plenty of juice, fine presentation, great performance and variety. I admit they have way too many fragrances and they could easily cut down on their offerings, some of them are misses to me. I also admit that some come across less refined then the ultra high end perfumes. Mancera seems to be the finer, more "french" line between the two. Having said that, its still my favourite house.

I'm the same as you bro but I have some Rojas,Xerjoff and Amouage.Honestly speaking Mancera and Montales best scents stand neck and neck with them.Sometimes even better,the synthetic accusation is overplayed many people simply think strong bold scents smell synthetic.They do not give them the chance to dry down and judge them by sniffing too close in the first 2mins.All in all I think they fall comfortably in the top 10 niche houses. With the new releases all things considered possibly Top 5

Totally agree, I even brought many of my Montale perfums on sales for 65€!! I wish they would start releasing more gourmand. E.g ristretto intense cafe is my fav and I brought it for 83€ and you can visbibly see the oil when you spray. It lasts forever❤❤ i really want to get my hands on amor cafe

What I really like about this fragrance is that it isn't too sweet and it is very well balanced between the coffee bitterness and the vanilla sweetness. To my nose it has a slight burnt toffee note to it that I find irresistible.

I found this scent to be unlike any other perfume! Super balanced on the skin. Smelled like Demerara sugar to me. Reminded me of a subtle Tom Ford cherry, maybe a fruity Guerlain perfume?? And possibly like a sweet men’s YSL cologne

@@eauderica I own it. It's great. The coffee is subtle though. I will say my bottle has to macerate as it had no lasting power upon arrival. After a month on the shelf, it's got good performance. Its my girlfriend's current favorite in my collection. Still, I doubt it compares. No ice cream scent. Think Khamrah, but a bit less sweet, a hit of coffee on the edges, and cardamom. Slightly leaning masculine.
