Nice promenade through the Victoria Shopping Mall. It's a big place and there's so much to see and so much food to eat. Very interesting program. I'm so pleased by the way that you always mingle and interact with the folks without any prejudice. You might think to yourself that it's only a small contribution but in the big picture you're playing a big part in promoting much needed unity in such a multicultural society. By the way, Mauritian people have always had great respect for foreigners.

Much better than the previous station it used to be. Great job done by the Private Sector. I really hope they do so in Rose Hill, Quatre Bornes and Curepipe coz this is cringingly missing. So if lots of street food stalls are set within the urban terminal, I hope there's more room for pedestrians on the pavements of the roads leading to the CBD. It used to be a pain to walk there Winner's bakery used to be the derelict bus stops for Express CNT & UBS buses towards QB, Phoenix & Curepipe in the evening. Historically, it used to be the fortifications and the spot where the French stocked their stash of ammunition back in the 1760s: Place de l'artillerie & Casernes Decaen which bridged the Port and the Central Line Barracks we all know. There is also Rue du Génie which hosted weapons/military and motor engines workshops and Porte Cochère the unique gateway to the beach and Caudan Basin. I think that's one of the most successful restoration and refurbishment project in Mauritius
