I've owned my 1735M cab tractor for a year now. I absolutely love it. This thing is a beast. I use it for clearing acres of woods and grading it out. Can easily lift 24" diameter trees 8-12 feet long. I used it in the winter to plow my 1/4 mile long drive as well. Perfect.

I bought my 1735M in December of 2019. I got it with a rear remote, a third function valve and beet juice in the tires for $25,000. I have 255 hours on it. I wish it had a brush guard that offered more protection than the one that comes on it. I also wish the rear lights were mounted inside the ROPS. It's too easy to damage them where they are mounted. I had to have warranty work done on it when a hydraulic line underneath cracked and started leaking. Also, my fuel gauge quit working. I'll be taking it in next week. Having said that, I love it. This unit is strong and capable. I would buy it all over again. The features are awesome. Mine lifts while curling just fine. A buddy of mine bought a JD a few months earlier and also had a defective hydraulic line blow out. These things happen. Hopefully all the bugs are worked out as my front to back warranty ends in two months. Great review. Thanks.

I still have issues with my fuel gauge on my 1736, it’s a known issue but the TSB says it’s a grounding issue. The lights on the ROPS get caught on mine also and I’ve had to replace them already ($$). Only issue I had was when it was new with 4 hours, a coupling valve for the dump failed. Been a great tractor thus far but definitely don’t get enough attention compared to others.
@scooterpie6964 жыл бұрын
@@jgcoupe6808 I took mine in before the warranty expired and the dealership had hired a new tech. He was aware of the fuel gauge problem and said he was able to seal the wiring so there would be no more grounding issues. Time will tell. It has been working well ever since. The bolt on the PTO shaft for the mower acts as a fusible link, but what's missing, is a cir-clip that prevents the shaft from coming off when the bolt breaks. That's what cause most of the problems. If you check the shaft on the mower, you'll see a groove on the very end of the shaft. Anyways, that's indeed a nice looking machine. Greetings from Portugal.

My Rhino Ag mower has the same gearbox. I had a similar problem. On mine the slip clutch came off the shaft. The problem was that someone at the factory used a grade 5 bolt and applied grade 8 bolt torque specs thereby twisting the nut off. The owners manual clearly states that a grade 8 , 3.5x1/2 MUST be used. The groove for the cir-clip is meant for shear pin attachment and doesn't apply to the slip clutch. How do I know? When you reattach the slip clutch assembly the groove is completely covered by the back half of the u-jount. You couldn't get a clip on no matter what.

Hello did you look at the yanmar yt235 34 hp with more lifting power
@JohnsRandomVids_US5 жыл бұрын
Yes I did compare them but the 1735M has almost 1000 lbs more of base weight than the YT235. Just because the Yanmar might lift 100lbs more in the FEL doesn’t mean it'll handle it better. Always consider tractor weight as a factor if your primary goal is loader work. Max lifting capacity is a relative factor in the grand scheme of things. Also my nearest Yanmar dealer was over an hour away so I decided against them anyways. It's always good to go with something that has a good dealer and close to you to back it up if possible.

I considered LS, and ultimately choose the MF1740m. The LS dealer nearest my location looks like a scrap yard when you pull in the gate. Dilapidated buildings, and junk piled everywhere. Not the kind of place I want to rely on to service my brand new tractor. I also read about poor factory tech support, unavailable service manuals, and bad parts availability. My understanding is that they get the frame and some of the guts from Iseki in Japan then Massey puts the rest together at a US based plant. Usually Iseki tractors use their own Iseki engines but Massey opted to use Shibaura engines instead. So the 1700 series is like 60% Iseki with the rest being a mix. Not 100% sure on this thought.
