A Newer way to easily unlock the Master Spirit Guide Trophy without having to complete the Game on Master Difficulty. This is an otherwise right pain in the arse to unlock, so be sure to use this Glitch BEFORE Ember Labs patch it out!

Worked for me on May 9th, 2023 with the latest patch 2.08. Massive thank you for this guide! The game was even difficult on normal for me sometimes, there's no way I would've ever done this trophy legit. Works like a charm, but it takes a few tries before you manage those 2 out of bounds jumps

@@Bitadesunshine no I did it immediately after I finished the story. Collectibles were the last thing I did I think it shouldn't matter tho. You can trigger the last boss fight at any time, even after you finished the game. So for the glitch it probably doesn't matter when you do it. But to be safe I'd do it as soon as possible just in case

Just did the glitch on Master NG+, thank you so much for the guide. NG+ makes the first skip way easier thanks to spirit bombs, but be prepared to fight Samurai, Chiaotzu, and those wasps Your instructions were very straightforward

For some reason its not working for me. Do i have to replay the game if ive already beaten it? I try saving in the mountain shrine area with my nornal difficulty save. I played master difficulty and did the out of bounce skip. I then get to where the warpstone is and load my nornal save, watch the cutscene, and its not unlocking for me. Please help. 😢

Worked for me on May 3rd, 2023 with the latest patch. Doing both jumps took the longest time, but it saved me hours of having to play all over again. Thank you for the trophy!

@@wantsomecoffe ps5. If you can’t make it through the first jump, just try to time the aiming right. It has to be right after the jump so you go a little bit farther to make it onto that tiny ledge. Also, make sure you are looking straight across, and not down. That helped me.

I got as far as the corrupt woodsmith before I gave up. Devs need to understand that we have lives and are mortal. YES!!! Update: I got the plat using this. I even skipped the jumping part since on New Game+ I use a bomb and then shot it to make the bridge fold out. Glitch still works even that way. If someone dont wont to jump more then they want to. Thank you so much for this video!

I tried just now with 2.07 and it works perfectly. you have to be precise when you jump and when you start meditation, you have to quickly press triangle and options to switch to master save. a great time saver 👍😛

Had to kill all the trash mobs, they wouldnt let me make the glitch jump on the boxes and killed me in secs. As of April 2024 patch 2.08, this still works. You can use NG+ to avoid the jumping of the first ravine. Just use your bombs to extend the bridge. It also helps on NG+ when fighting the tougher spirits. Just remember to press the pause button immediately after pressing triangle to meditate. Do not allow the ending cutscene of the meditation to start. If the cutscene starts your load option will be grayed out. If you mess up, you can reload the mountain Hall from the autosave and try again

Worked for me, v. 2.08. I did it on normal NG, not NG+, because this way the enemies are easier, after defeat them I spent some hours trying the tricky jump but now it´s done! Thanks for the platinum.

As of June 28, 2023, the glitch is still working. Version 2.08 I finished the game on normal mode and obtained all of the miscellaneous trophies. I then created a manual save at the end of the game and started a new game plus; finished the tutorial and did exactly what you did and it worked perfectly on the first time. Thank you so much!!! GG works like a charm even on NG+ with Master difficulty, Its actually easier because u dont have to do the first skip as u can already use the bombs. Enemys u face are much harder, but u still outrun them and be able to try the jump 2 or 3 times until they get u Big thanks to everybody involved, finding and presenting this. Its way to annoying to work through all the encounters even if u exploit the NG+ gemstone

For those who the glitch doesn't work,this worked for me,as soon as you're about to press the triangle to meditate press the option button and load your master difficulty game and the ending will still continue and youll get the platinum

@@akatsukimi Yeah, the glitch is pretty easy. The master difficulty itself is challenging, especially on NG+. Also, it's a good idea to aim for every trophy except the master difficulty one.

I had just cleared all 4 shrines in the forgotten forest and was on the sprout captain boss fight on master difficulty and I had completed the campaign on story mode as well. I then just followed exactly what he did in the guide from that point and it worked perfectly. Hopefully thats of some help!

Thank you. It's also a good a thing I only bought 3 charmstones (I realized this was for a 2nd playthrough) because I ended my first playthrough with 305 or 315 karma. All I had to do was play the prologue, get to the village, purify the center, look behind the house for the karma fruit (had 385 karma), get Taro's mask to open his area then go to the 1st house with the garden (use rot to grow it) to get my karma to 405 to buy the last bomb ability that cost 400. Didn't even have to deviate from the video. Note: I did the Master trophy first just incase then went back into the village center file to get my last ability within 2 mins. Platinum.

This worked! I was a bit confused on the timing at the meditation point, but if you click pause right after you meditate, you can load the save. Wait to long and it won't work. Just make a manual save right before that and you will be good. Thank you so much!!! I love this game, and Expert kicked my ASS, no way I am playing master. @@Skarz1989 Not sure if you've followed the steps in the same way as described in the video. You need to make sure that you instantly press on 'options' after clicking on meditate and then load your master playthrough save from the village leader hall. And I didn't have to switch off my Internet.

I didn't want to go on Master difficulty right away, I wanted to speedrun it on NG+ with everything unlocked, but I see that the enemies are different than before and you don't get the health from meditation spots back, so that was a huge backdraw for me. I'd rather finish Dark Souls again than playing on NG+ Master.

I was having overwritten save from the end of the game and made manual save after finishing the game in the mountain shrine (free play), and it also works. Thank you so much!

Amazing. Still works as of November 20th 2023. Saved my controller. Worked my ass of to get to the Corrupted Woodsmith but that healthpool did never go down even to half its length. Having in mind that I still needed to best the Rot God (worst enemy design in the history of ever) I did hope there would be another way 😂 Thanks 😂😂

I had to sweat a little with jumping over that cliff and jumping on the wall near the house didn't work right away, but it's 100% times faster than the original second playthrough on a difficulty that feels harder than some souls-like games. April 8th 2024 glitch still works, thanks a lot!

Didn’t watched the full tutorial in this video and I entered the hall and used the mask and returned to the village, now all my saves goes NG+ 🥲 but thankfully there’s at least a glitch takes us to toshi’s trials directly so I’m goning to start a NG+ easy mode and end the game this way and I’ll use this glitch after . Thanks alot for the tutorial 👏🏼
