We've upgraded to a bigger unit! Our 23 maverick Sport Xmr. A quick walk around, my initial thoughts and and a quick trail ride. Thanks for coming along!

Looks like a blast I wish they weren't $20k plus I'd love to have one for all the old logging roads we have up where we camp but looks like wel have to stick to 4 wheelers

Nice video, not to much stuff on here about the new maverick sport xmr’s. I ordered one in march and can’t wait for it to show up!

Very interested in seeing a more in depth video on the trunk mods to work with the snorkles.
@twistingtrailsXMR8 ай бұрын
Yes, I kind of wish I videod making the mods. It wasn't hard, just time consuming. I removed the snorkel covers, removed the bed and placed it upside down on the cover to mark where the snorkels and the cover met. I then drilled straight through the bottom at 90 degrees until it came out the top . This circumvented trying to guess where to cut the top as there is many converging angles and planes where the snorkels enter the cargo box .Cut the holes with a rotary tool . Re installed the bed , then placed the box up. Check fitment and trim as required to allow snorkel cover and clamp to firmly go over snorkel tube. There will be some gap on the top layer as the base of the snorkel cover is larger than the rest of it. That is not an issue though as the cover is roto-molded so any liquid that gets in around the top layer of the cover and the snorkel cover will not get inside the storage area because the seal is between the bottom layer and the bed. It took a few tries to get it decent because I didn't want to remove too much material, but it did work out OK.

I also very interested. I have a XRC model with the Tonneau cover and have been thinking about adding a snorkel kit. My concern is if I mod the Tonneau it will leak. How is yours? Does it leak much? Could you provide some additional close up pictures of your mod? By the way I'm from PEI and ride NB quite often.

@@michaelallain9040 No, it does not leak at all.

Ditch the front sway bar for better ride & more traction.

.....And more BROKEN Axles!!!

The sway bar has nothing to do with keeping axles from breaking ! Beating on your machine is what breaks axles.

How is the fuel mileage
@craighudson43824 ай бұрын
Totally depends on the terrain. If you're running logging/fire roads, you'll go much farther than climbing up rocky hills on the same amount of fuel. We typically go 90-120 kms( 55-75 miles) a day through various types trails and don't have an issue. I always carry extra fuel though so it's not a concern.

Funny how you guys call this a “bike” I ride a motorcycle that IS a “bike” 4 wheels is not a bike. I also have a quad it has 4 wheels & I don’t call it a bike… LOL I have a buddy from NFLD & I keep correcting him. What you have there is a beautiful machine with doors a roof etc. Bike?? I don’t think so.. just sayin, nice machine good vid..

Ha Ha! I find this wildly funny because before I got into off roading, I only drove a street only motorcycle, and I always thought when talking to guys that had OHV's , Why are they calling this a bike? It's not a bike! Now flash forward and I'm doing the same thing! HA! Maybe an east coast thing? Thanks for watching, appreciate it!

Turf mode is fragile and sucks you're better off without
@twistingtrailsXMR7 ай бұрын
Yeah, we don’t miss it at all, we we use this machine to run trails, not do work around the yard.
@wg5768Ай бұрын
How is turf mode fragile? With the rear diff always locked,you fish tail often. Especially when on a sideways slope.

@@wg5768 do some reading on the subject and report back
@tazzthedoodle7861Ай бұрын
@wg5768 Go to some of the forums and see all the problems. Limited slip differentials have more moving parts than a solid diff. They blow up all the time.
