Just bought these for my talon recently. Excited about them

After running these for a few months, how do they compare to Carnivores in the dirt and snow? I'm looking at upgrading from the stock Bighorns and rims to the Tusk Teton Beadlock rims like you have and the carnivores. For reference I am in Idaho, so I think our snow and dirt composition is roughly the same.

Stephen Beale I actually do not know anyone personally with Carnivores, just what I’ve read and observed online. Seems most people are pleased with them except for rapid treadwear. The Rampages are easily my most favorite tire I have had, the only variable is treadwear at this point. The Tetons are one of my favorite wheels as well, lightweight and I’ve never had an issue with the rings leaking like I have had with other wheels. The only goofy thing is the way they located the valve stem, makes it hard to get a gauge in there

Do you think these rampages will hold up on gravel a lot of the national forest service trails we ride have gravel on them now
@BullittOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
100% I would rate Rampages 10/10 for gravel conditions. Best tire I’ve tried for forest and fire roads.

@@BullittOutdoors thank you. I've been on the fence about buying the rampages or the XTR370s

370s are neat tires, not sure about their sidewalls though, the XC350 is weak

Are they a true 32” tall compared to the Xcomps?

Adam Kossman Unmounted they were right at 32”... on the RZR with 12psi they are sitting at 31”

How is the compound compared to a Carnivore, Softer or harder?
@BullittOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Medi0gre Maxxis says: Specialized rubber compound to promote excellent traction and control with exceptional treadwear”. Rampage is supposed to have longer treadwear compared to Carnivores

So after a year, are these still a great tire for you or have you had any problems?
@BullittOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Easily my favorite tires I’ve ever had. Nearly 2000 miles and the tread is definitely worn but still usable on trails and roads. No issues

You do realize that there is no "inside" and "outside" on these tires, right? So the bead is the same on each side of the tire, not smaller on the inside as you claim.
@BullittOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
I'm pointing out the lack of "rim guard" which is noticeable on the "inside" bead
@bigbluegpr5 жыл бұрын
@@BullittOutdoors That's my point: There is no "inside". It's a nondirectional tire. Any perceived difference is all in your head!
@BullittOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
bigbluegpr No it’s pointing out Terrabites and X-Comps hang over 1/4” more than Rampages which is more NOTICEABLE on the inside lip rather than comparing beadlock rings.

Video is way over exposed in the sun. Other then that Impressive snow tire. Would rather see then go up hill in a crawl then rolling down hill for endless miles.
