The chainsaw is kinda of a hard one to say what it is because it has its pros and cons , it’s for sure a good weapon to do finisher challenges for ash but the heavy attacks are bad

Nice tier list ! In my experience i never had problems with hit detection with the chainsaw but a Mace .... tons of bad hit detection in my experience , i never pick up the mace

Yeah only once I had a great game with the mace, but that involves moving the camera around as you are swinging to help aim where you want to hit. Its rough.

Spears are really only good against Puppeteers units due to their lower HP and Balance Bar. And since they come in such numbers, the AOE sweep on it is pretty effective to crowd control them since it stuns them up easy. Terrible against anything that is possessed though. I'd definitely put it over the Cleaver and Handaxe for that reason alone. At least it has SOME use. Funnily enough, used it on Scotty a couple times when no other weapons were available to me.... It actually did decent, between 40-60K damage in long games. Definately wouldn't have done that with the other two weapons ya ranked above it haha

The best two weapons for crowd control are definitely the Staff and Scythe but the worst melee weapon overall is definitely the Spear imo. That thing is pretty much useless. I'd say My top three melee weapons are (in no particular order) the Chainsaw, Lumberjack Axe, and Sword. Though an honorable mention definitely goes to the shovel. The finishers on that thing are some of the best in the game for sure.

It’s really good against a lot of AI units. I like to run it on most Hunters since I can hit targets from behind while attacking in the front. As for the heavy on staff allows you to hit that AOE radius for knock backs.

My favorite melee for Mia is Lumby, Sword and ofcourse Sledge.. purple or gold staff are also good its fast and have the effect of a two handed melee weapon

before i watch the vid my opinion. Lumberjack Axe , Sword and Sledge are the best! The mace is awesome ! but the heavy attacks and even light attacks come out way too slow!! so if the demon is attacking you could be hard to get ur hit off

I shift these up and down based on character. I adore the Shovel and the Bat on Support Ash. I've also come around on the Meat Hammer, especially at higher rarity. I absolutely despise weapons like the Machete and the Scythe because they are very hard to get Finishers with - the enemy dies first.

Isn’t the hand axe bugged on survivors like warriors with fast attack speeds? I remember playing as a warrior and after maxing out melee damage/speed, the second or third hit in the light attack combo would do nothing. Work around was to either just use heavy attacks or not max out melee damage. Idk I may be wrong. Lumberjack axe all the way! Mainly like it for heavy attacks. Wish other weapons were like that like the sledge hammer. If they nerf the lumberjack axe, I’m done.

How come you didn't mention Mia's synergy with the machete at all? Would have liked to hear your opinion on Mia's potential with a machete - especially when it's blue rarity or above.

Yeah kinda thought about this when editing. Sadly using a Machete on Mia has too many cons rather than pros For example the stunlocking with it being a 3 speed weapon The damage it can do to teammates Terrible for the bleed damage perk Almost wasn't worth mentioning haha

I think the syringes have the same stats as a hunting knife for for whatever reason feel way worse. Also higher tier syringes have worse stats than the hunting knife by a huge margin. Legendary syringes are defintely the worst legendary in the game, they are considered blunt so you think they have higher blunt damage or at least have some sort of kelly blled affect when you attack to give it something unique but they are garbage. I think the scythe is underrated, it just feels so good to use and the pipe would be better if its's balance bar was higher cuz its way too low for what it actually feels like.

Do you know Syringe heavy attack has 400% dismemberment and balance bar damage?? Lash with it can guarantee get dismemberment aura boost, and then do execution finisher and get 2nd time boost from 1 enemy. But somehow after latest patched, I dont know is Lash got nerf or Syringe got nerf or enemy dismemberment resistance got buff, Lash not easy to get dismemberment aura boost anymore, not even from explosive or grenade launcher.
