You guys are also respecting project farms work and the data that they are collecting. That in itself makes sense. They have put a ton of time into testing tools so why not try to compare data.

Project Farm is amazing. He deserves the credit. There’s nothing wrong with using his data. I feel like that’s kinda why he does it..

LET'S GO VIM TOOLS 🏁 That data from Project Farm is public data.. You can use it the way you are..Screw anyone who thinks differently... They don't matter...☝️ I would shout out Project Farm and be transparent, but it's totally legit...

1. Is VIM ever going to make those speakers? (I've been binge watching the Tool Tuesdays series and been trying to see what I like. I'd love to buy merch from a Company I support) 2. Try to involve Christian more, he was ready a lot of times to help you display tools but he never opened his mouth. I'd recommend giving him a refresher of the tools before recording so he has a few lines to jump in and talk. Like you and Lui do, where you divide the tools and half, speak on it and give input. He was definitely shy to talk. No hate, love the videos guys!👍

I think it makes sense to just say his name and just make it clear, we are going to take our Numbers and compare it to what project farm collected so we can see where it lines up

Are you going to address the "broken" breaker bar?
@dericktrillos5541
@dericktrillos5541 Ай бұрын
I agree, seeing the breaker bar break first blew my mind. It needs to be stronger, but the ratchet was one hell of a beast
@rickkephartactual7706
@rickkephartactual7706 Ай бұрын
@@dericktrillos5541 Agreed. In testing like that something has to break. I just didn't expect it to be the beefy looking breaker bar. I bought one of those breaker bars and now I'm wondering if I did the right thing. I'm not as strong as I was years ago so it will probably hold up just fine for me. Still, there is lingering doubt.

IMO you gotta always give credit if you're using someone else's data. Particularly if you're using it to support your claims. Also it's good practice to support other KZbinrs. It's exactly like stand up comedy - you don't ever want to steal and use other people's jokes. Once you get a reputation for that, you're done. Remember it takes many years to build a reputation but you can destroy it in an instant by acting unethically, like taking people's info, data or ideas and not giving them credit.

Maybe add reference text to any images that you use. Although something tells me people will never be happy, no matter how much you try. Personally I really like your videos, keep up the great work 👍

ALWAYS GIVE CREDIT, to those that say you should NOT, what are they hiding, why no attribution, what harm is there in giving credit?... those people are jerks.. smFh

Yep, project farm is as legit and as practical as possible otherwise independent "lab" testing has way way more overhead than project farm at home😆😆😆

People just love to bitch for any reason. I thought we were techs here, and can put up with and accept more… It’s your channel, so do whatever you want, especially if people will get upset either way. I’d say, mention Project Farm, since it’s his work and data being used. Most of us know his work, but for others who aren’t aware, that might direct them to his channel. Maybe you can also mention that you’ll add a link to his channel, or the specific video to which you’re comparing the VIM product, in the description or pinned comment.

You really should ask them what they would like you to do perhaps not even mention at all. Otherwise i would give them the credit.

Dfxl100 ???? Wheres the 150 set i have to say i wish i never bought this set . You made a great wrench my issue is i bought this set with expectations of you releasing the additional sizes as mentioned in your past videos . 18mm as well as the others . Right now you only offer the 19mm separate The ratcheting crowfoot/extension ratcheting wrenches would nice to see as well . Im to the point im ready to by the Tone set . As far as your wire strippers go they dont do or crimp as low as your competitors as they have two sets . You make a nice set of pliers but at $53 for yours vs $67 for your competitors I'll pay the $14 difference. Your competitor had them for the same price just a few flyers ago .

I would suggest mentioning/giving credit to whomevers stats you compare to. The people who actually watch and listen to you videos will understand and not be upset. The trolls and ignorant will still complain, but thats unfortunately unavoidable.

You always give people credit for their work! You want credit for yours don't you? Project Farm has become a trusted sight and comparing the testing of your tools to his testing if you use the same processes is completely fair and legitimate. Stop trying to satisfy all people. It will put you in the funny farm.

That's just crazy people called you out for that!? That's exactly whats wrong with the world these days, man. Just sad... You used project farm's video because he does a phenomenal job of conducting these tests, and the information is valid, accurate, and tangible. Also, he's a well-known and well respected youtube channel with extremely accurate information. I seriously cannot believe people thought you were calling him out, like how? How is using his test results as a baseline calling him out?? If anything, you're showing him respect and gratitude by using his video and statistics to test an internationally recognized brand tool. He just did such a great job with that video, who wouldn't refer to it for future reference and testing?? Don't conform to these people who aren't ever happy with anything. No matter what you do, they will always hate, and always have something to say. These people identify as assholes!!
