Thank you so much 😊❤️😘 You are not a big fan of Aliexpress, right? I can truly understand that. In the past, I had a few unpleasant experiences. In case you want to try it in the future. Stick to the Choice system and only buy from sellers with high rating. Which means very close to 100% and not under 98%, that's a pretty safe way if you ever decide to try it out 😁 I hope you can find a Mengf doll or their newer bodies on eBay or a different US site, of course, for a decent price. I am sure you would love it❣️

I did not know that the doll you showed is also a Mengf doll. I have seen it on Aliexpress but I assumed they were "knockoffs" of Mengf dolls! Thank you for the detailed show and tell. Very good information for those of us who likes to experiment with making hybrid dolls. By the way, I think the plastic bag in hot water is probably the quickest way of softening the head. I used to roll a doll inside a heating pad, it worked but it took too long.

Thank you so much for your comment 😁❤️😘 I thought these dolls and their bodies definitely were worth looking at 😊 You will laugh, but I bought a heat mat only for using it to heat up heads! But it simply gets not hot enough. The EU regulations are very strict nowadays, I guess that is the reason why our heat mats are not enough... even not after hours! To be sure, I even got a different one from a friend, but the same result 🤣 I think a heating utensil for doll heads could be a gap in the market 😆

@@Endollphins I had no idea that heating pads in Europe did not get warm enough to soften doll heads. I must say that if preserving the hairstyle of a doll is important, then the heat pad method is the best way to swap heads and preserving hairstyles.

I have an old one from my grandmother that used to get hot enough, but it now has a loose contact 😮‍💨 The attempt of repairing it was not that successful 😅 I am tempted to get an old one again from ebay. The EU thinks that heat mats are a fire hazard, so the heating function is pretty low nowadays... I guess they are not wrong, but it is unpractical when you would like to use it for other things... Normally, for dolls with complicated hair styles, and even Blythe, I wait for winter and put everything on the radiator. Creativity is always the key 🤣🤣🤣

But I was not able to find that doll in that store, even though the store uses pictures of her in the description of one listing. Strange... but that's not unusual with Aliexpress 😂 I am pretty sure that she will be available for a while. ATM, the prices are high again, I am sure there will be a sale again soon.

I just received that same body yesterday. I didn't want it with the doll head. After your review I prefer the one with bangs and the last doll you showed. I am always looking for something different when it comes to head sculpts. I will probably order the doll with bangs and the one you like. I can't wait to compare the body to integrity and mtm for comparison. The body is very flexible but I don't like the fact the skin between the feet and bottom of the leg doesn't align if you know what I mean. I loved the video and I have purchased many Mengf bodies before but not this type. Thanks for the review it helped me. I love how you restyled your girls so cute.❤

It is a rather tiny body, so the possible matches might be fewer... also, the light skin tone is not easy to match. But it is, in fact, a very high quality doll body. Mengf does a really good job overall. I hope we'll see more cool stuff in the future 😁 You are totally right about the transition from leg to foot 😃 Honestly, I didn't notice it that much before... at that point, mtm did it way more elegant. In most shoes, the chunky ankle is not visible, but compared to the other joints of the body, this one is not that elegant 😆

But I was curious how much different the prices might be 😅 For Spain I knew that the prices were higher, but I had no idea how exactly. Wow, 21% is a big number! Pretty much all bigger Asian brands... LOL OMG and Mini Brands Fashion shoes 😅 The Kuhrn shoes I have do fit, but they are a bit tight. Takara Licca and Jenny shoes fit quite nicely. The Obitsu 22/24 and standard Azone should fit as well. Rainbow High shoes are way too large, but LOL OMG shoes are a nice fit!!! The shoes are only a bit wide around the toes, but it is absolutely not loose and it looks cute... at least in my opinion 😁 And of course, most of the Mini Brands Fashion shoes will also fit. I hope I was able to help a bit 😊
