Every time I walk toward my 63 biturbo I can’t help but admire it, the lines are muscular it tells me it was built with purpose, it’s mildly intimidating , it took me a while to warm to it after owning the 1st gen, but now I love it’s look just as much, haven’t warmed to the softer looking 3rd gen yet, but I think it will come.

think just because your born or live in Germany it makes you German because it does not, for the people who don't understand then study genetics.Hubert Lee the designer is a brilliant car designer and I'm glad your working for Mercedes, your work is amazing and I hope to see more of your designs. My nationality is American my ethnicity is German like I said I love several Asian culture's and the people and I think it's cool that they do thing's unique that no other people may do and they take

These "lets pretend we are doing something" videos are so lame... From the guy pretending to sketch in the beginning, which he is clearly just going with the pencil back and forth in lines already drawn (if you see, the drawing was already signed, which usually means it was finished). And then the chief designer pretending to look at the model and the whole "oh yeah, that´s great, yeah yeah" and finally those two guys around the 3 models and then jump into a COMPLETED PRODUCTION CAR... To put some fake adjustment tape line pretending to do a fake adjustment work... They didn´t even showed the clay modelling process. Lame lame lame.

This was in 2007, judging by the signature on the paper. So, the design for this car was approved in 2007 in that case. That means it was frozen 2-3 years prior to reveal in 2010. That May 2008 Autobild rendering was spot on and obviously his design got leaked early and nobody even noticed it was the real deal for 2 1/4 years.

someone racist stop and think of all the time's when you said your proud to be Irish, Black, French, an American, or what ever. Point I'm making is that I think it's great Hubert Lee and many people of all ethnicity can work together, how ever there should be a limit My massage to Germany and all nations watch it so you don't lose who you are as a people,and for the record American cars suck. The best are Asian and German!
@StefanoAccorsi8511 жыл бұрын
If I'm not wrong the model you indicate as "a legend" was developed when the Mercedes design director was Bruno Sacco. He was italian, not german. Sorry for that.

If I want something Asian then I expect it to be from an Asian not German and if I want something from a German I expect it to be form a German. There is a difference between nationality and ethnicity.I love a lot of different Asian culture and I want it left alone same as German. I love Sony, if I found out my TV was made by bob from the USA I wouldn't like that, even though when different culture's work together it can create great thing's.I just don't want Germany to become USA and people

every one have his own impression. i don't know how things works in Mercedes Factory because i don't work there but i'm not agree with this design. Japan, China, Corea ore whatever they are are extraordinary peoples in other thing of technology. I expressed my opinion and you don't have the right to judge me for what i am.

I beg to differ. Of course the nationality and his background changes the design of not only cars, but everything. Look at this mercedes, it's not german, it screams KOREA, look at hyundai cars. If you don't believe me look at the BMW cars made by Chris Bangle
@wolf1975199512 жыл бұрын
great pride in knowing that, for example I love German cars and my German heritage and as much as it hurts me to say, Asians are making more reliable cars.There are many great things about every culture that they take pride in.George Carlin said he never understood why people take pride in their culture when you should take pride in what one has achieved and not there people I agree with him, however it's in peoples nature to take pride in there Race,culture,and nationality, so before you call

it is funny when everybody gives their 'professional' comments. hahahaha. i thinks this design is definitely better than the legend u were talking about (w124 e500) . hahahah that w124 looks like a box, i think they were taking hubert lee as the chief because to give the mercedes a new fresh design rather that a 'box' german design that is so boring. hahahahaha
