And when they announced the “nerf” to acuity my eyes just lit up.. the aoes and dots dk have almost guarantee when it procs you’ll be at 100% in a second when fighting outnumbered since there is no timer on gaining stacks just when they expire. doesn’t perform like that on any other class. They made the set better for magdk play style and worse for every other build. I was thoroughly impressed

After our little chat during your stream the other day I decided to make a new mech acuity dk build over on Na server xbox and for 200 ish cp I'm killing 2000 cp plars, dks and wardens haha.... acuity with bloodspawn and orders wrath using off balance flame lash corrosive build.....got some hefty burst damage

So I have a build in mind. A poison dk with the Swamp Raider set and Occult Overload to hit bomb runs. Corrosive Armor for the ulti and a bow with Toxic Barrage or the poison Arrow Spray morph. Tips?

I will say I have much h more fun on this build is and is more effective in the right scenario. Duelinging wise I'd drop maras for RC or even keep it but ppl will cry. I'd toss on vicious claw instead of whirling blades. And for duels you may need more sustain. Skill wise it's up to you. I would use the exploiter passive coupled with fossilized for the most burst

I too haven't seen the same results with MA that other great players report, but I mostly assume it's because I'm a crap player. However, I swapped it out for Order's Wrath on one of my builds last patch (magplar) and had good success. Did you try both MA and Orders on this exact build? Does the crit damage on Order's make up for the MA loss? What things have you noticed?

@@MrJPD123 order's wrath gives you 3 lines crit chance which are mostly wasted with MA. So better off finding something else that gives you more useful stats and the equivalent of 8% crit damage, like putting major vulnerability on them, or essence thief for big damage boost, or just pure damage with clever.

@@MrJPD123 I find you know when its going to happen with MA(so far as guranteed burst, MA is better. But overall thruout a fight, I dont feel it is). With orders you dont, but given orders also increase crit-damage, not just chance. I "feel" it works better. You'll get moments where it crits alot, then does more damage because not many things give crit-dmg. Orders-wraith does. My crit chance at 44%, but crit dmg at 53% i think, made a khajit DK(Im not paying to swap races, but I will make another character). Which the khajit will put me right under crit-dmg cap. Then orders comes in heavy armor, which makes your dmg bar more tanky by default.

Ok so i met a dk with this build today in cyro and smacked his ass with my no brain bsw clever alchemist dk build. Atleast on his hands the build didnt seem like anything special. Hoarcrux is just able to make the build seem "op" because he is just so battle hardened on his dk

Both will work, one bar will have less tools at its disposal to fight players with cause 1 bar, so you’ll always be at a disadvantage in that regard but you won’t need to buff so there is that Imo builds are realllllly personal I would build both and see what works for you and swap around any skills you can’t get your head around ever since I took this mind set into PvP and builds I have had a lot more success personalising the builds to suit my play style better

Been testing accuity a lot. Problem with it is this. If you dont hit someone within 4secs after first stack, regardless if you see the stacks up or not.. You lose all crit chance gained from it, even with stacks showing still up. Then since it has a 25sec cooldown, u can easily mess up your stacks. Overall it made me net 47% crit chance(meaning entire fight time using accuity, up or not, it compares to always having 47% crit chance), but the purpose is for burst not overall. But I get much better results overall from any set that gets me past 50%. U can still hit dmg cap, with that crit chance. So question is... Is a measly 5 sec 100% crit chance worth it, with overall 47% crit chance. Or is 50-55% always on crit chance better. Also consider if u dont hit something in 4 secs when stacking, you lose acuity regardless of what stacks you see(check your stats). BanditUI, lets you see crit chance on screen always. Also consider you turn bright-blue(with accuity up) and anybody worth their salt will know you have acuity up and can dodge away for a measly 4 seconds. So in that regard, i'm totally deconscructing my accuity set.

I've considered this exact idea. The thing is, how are you going to get that high of a crit chance with a simple 5 piece while maintaining crit damage multipliers. The idea is to use corrosive during the acuity proc so accumulating those stacks is much much easier and moat of the time in cyro you have a very small window for burst. That's why I like the setup. You're right though if you don't use corrosive it is hard to Mai tain those stacks

@@Hoarcrux Yes i agree. For straight window of burst damage, its hard to beat accuity. Main problem with doing sets for straight up crit chance/dmg, is then you lose out on ultimate regen. Thats the only part that screws me and makes me do accuity. Otherwise without ultimate regen sets. Its really easy to get a kajit DK to 55-65% crit dmg, with 47-56% crit chance, you also can gain a dmg proc. But then all the sudden I need more tankiness and/or penetration, since corrosive isn't up as much. Been trying just using bloodspawn 2 piece for ult. But then you can't wear a mythic, while wearing 2 5-piece sets and a 2-piece monster set. For PVE it's easy. Since fighters passive can be all the ultimate regen you need. But yea I think we're stuck with accuity currently. For this type of build.

A lot of people starting to go crit builds. More and more people going to run rallying cry as a counter. If everyone is suddenly 3.5-4K crit resist, how will that impact this build?

I tested it. So around 1600 crit resists I hit my friends for 17k whip full procced. With RC up and around 3000 crit resist, it still hit for 14k so it can be a be a little annoying

Well this build you can just bye from the guild stores for the most part. Bsw is a set you should have regardless imo. Both builds are quite nice so you just gotta pick one that suits you. The acuity build is very fun js

Not really. In your example Sorc doesn’t have mitigation passives, but it benefits from stacking into mag magick which benefits bigger shields (defence) and damage (offence) in one attribute therefore that is what people do. Hardly anyone stacks mitigation on a sorc, because they use the classes natural strength in burst damage, shield stacking and streaking away.
