Thats good. Do you think Konami design of usually letting a deck be good for one or two months and then destroying it is fair? People invest time and money into YuGiOh, these investments should yield permanent results, not decks that become worthless within months.

@@THELORDVODKA Just keep adding new archetypes that are also really powerful... that just means there will be dozens or even hundreds of top tier decks. Konami purposefully nerfs the best decks every couple months and forces the meta to be 1-3 decks, there would literally be more variety if they banned less archetype cards (bans of generic cards that fit into every deck and are too good make sense though).

I've tried a 40ish tear lightsworn deck with the md banlist the second the lightsworn support was announced in lede and i often ended my test hands with less than 10 cards in the deck. It's such a strong variant that i'm getting worried kit might get hit, but i hope not. Tear decks are so much fun

Are we sure about Yubel being a bad matchup for Ancient Gear ? I was playing the deck yesterday (without support obviously) and ended up playing through 3x Apollo negates, Phantom negate and Soul of Rage with the help of Vernusyph cards + Ballista and Overload Fusion. I still lost on turn 3, but almost lethaled them with Chaos Giant ! It straight up ignores Nightmare Pain since its unaffected so I could ram into 0 atk Apollo and his Soul of Anguish for 6600 dmg

I love opening with called by when going second against Yubel. Insta kill that phantom. Love it. Give called by to 3x. Might as well with all the messy powerful decks out now

@@obskewerd3992 Yes ! I'd love Called by at 3 too. Gets rid of key meta cards like Phantom of Yubel and Promethean Princess or Flamberge. Also there's nothing worse than playing a blind 2nd deck and having no response to Maxx C in Standby phase on top of a 7-8 disruptions board

@@fb6039 Yeah im at a personal debate with Maxx C, Decided to run it at 2. I want the card banned but also its been the ONLY thing that has helped me win through seemingly endless boards. If it resolves you find more answers or they stop making a larger board. Called by isnt even that hard to dodge or get around so it shouldn’t be limited :/

So with the aegis trap do you have to wait until the opponent has multiple cards to negate to get the multi negate? Or, if you have 3 light sworn can you negate 3 effects as they come even if they’re not on the field when you first activate the trap? I might’ve not explained my question well. Will try to rephrase if it’s poorly written.

@aviatinggamer9051 yea its a normal trap so on activation u negate up to as many lightsworn as you control. For example if u control 3 lightsworn and your opponent has a face up necrovalley as well as a face up fossildyna, you can negate necrovalley and fossildyna but you dont get a third negate later in the turn

I much prefer tears than Yubel. Tears takes work. Iv tried playing Both and Yubel be doing just as much. Tearlaments can mill bad, And are vulnerable. Yubel takes quite literally zero brain. Thats why I don’t respect any wins with it. It’s literally printed for bad players

@@the-xm2qi Thats totally fair. I didn’t like using Yubel because its a scoop simulator. But also, I genuinely whiffed plays, Multiple times, and still landed a 16 win streak through plat and diamond. I have scooped many times, unless I have called by. Deal with Phantom and nightmare pain its basically a GG. So you are totally justified in “letting the baby have its bottle” as I call it. The decks are NOT made for having an opponent. Basically pay to win.

A few techs some people overlook in light sworn The Bunin rank 4 that requires 2 beast warriors. Archer and wolf both beast warriors. On summon that mills 5. Good way to open your plays before you summon other ranks. Really god if you make it with 2 wolves so you can save the tuners for either visas or Minerva. I summon this in top zone then eventually link it away. It’s not apart of your end board so don’t waste a main monster slot. As a light it can also help you to get into curious probably with snow and another random light. An end board with spell canceller is nasty. If you mill it you can resummon it with that rank 4 xyz. The one that we usually use to draw 2 and discard one. It’s 3nd option. I’d to reborn a monster but it loses you the next main phase 1 so put as many cards in attack. Most meta decks can’t play with out spells. Plus you have monsters who can disturb their monster effects. They need their spells to even start their plays. Sometimes to even get a monster who can beat over 1600. And most board breakers are spells. You can use droplets or dark ruler on a canceller board. And you have other disruptions for evenly. Barone. The lights worn trap. The worst part is you lose the defensive utility of your own spells like tear field spell or sarc. But if you get over canceller they back online. Congrats you outted canceller. Now deal with a field spell pop. Ang tear scream. And sarc. My ideal end blasts has usually been barone spell cancel a tear fusion. Usually rulk. Apollo on top. Then if you really open broken you can add little knight by sending the xyz that you make to summon spell canceller. Sometimes you don’t get Apollo But regardless most people have to burn their battle phase to get by canceller. Even then it is can leave a spot for snow to book it. For me I’d rather have spell canceller as my brick vs punishment. Spell canceller wins you games. Punishment mostly helps your grind.
