Yeah, I'm updating the Channel with better BTs, also including instrumental and vocals only track when I can. Welcome back!

It's cool that you were able to lower the tuning.🙂 But now James' vocals are out of tune and it's jarring. Either the vocals should be lowered to D or the track should be left instrumental (Drums + Bass).

So... I know, in this configuration the vocals are out of tune, but have you ever listened to a track with the vocals tuned down too? I think it's awful, I just can't finish listening. That is not the voice I know. For me is beyond weird. So I made this. If anyone but me can enjoy it, then it's all good. And about leaving the track instrumental... There are plenty of other backing tracks doing that, so what would be the purpose?

@@spiritcrusherbackingtracks Yes! Of course I have heard versions where the vocals are also lowered (or even raised!) to the appropriate key. And it sounds... unusual, but adequate for perception. I want to say - if for you lowering the vocals by a tone makes them "unrecognizable", then why don't you treat the lowered sound of the instruments in the same way? Personally, I normally perceive only lowering by 1/2 tone - then the song still does not lose its authenticity, but even lower - well, that's something beyond good and evil🙂.

@maximusdecimusmeridius2314 I agree with you. If you ask me "is this right as it is?" I would say no. But the existence os this track as is doesn't follow a logic nor it tries to be correct. It is purely a reaction to my illogical feeling about tuned down vocals. So I agree with you, but at the same time I like to play in D standard but don't like how the vocal sounds when tuned down too.
