Wow... this... actually... WORKED! Thank you so much, man. Been trying so many different methods, but none would work. Been at it for *days* and it's been driving me crazy LOL. I was at that point where I thought I'd never figure it out and it'd just stay a brick... but nope! Your batch file did it. For those who might run into issues with this method, here are a few (hopefully) useful notes: 1) if you get errors while running the batch file (in my case it said "Bad component name: com.google.android.gsf.login.LoginActivity") do not despair! Hit return anyway, as if you didn't get an error, chances are it'll work anyway (it did for me). 2) if you get stuck with an "sbl error" message that won't let you get into either recovery mode or download mode, follow these two steps: - plug the phone into a power outlet and go into download mode (it'll work now!) - flash the BL (bootloader) file When your phone reboots, it should go right into the system, totally bypassing FRP! Well done, Chris! Awesome trick.

@@JustaRandomYTperson Note 7, I miss my note 7, managed to get it a day before deletion in the UK. I believe that you can bypass frp via Samsung pay tab which appears during setup. I have alternative methods specifically for the note 7 on my channel.

Great, i used this method to frp bypass a Galaxy J2/Grand Prime+ and worked fine. BTW, if you are having trouble on any samsung where the hidden.img is failing to flash, then use 7-zip or any program to open/extract the csc file(.tar), erase the hidden.img file and then join the files/folders you extracted again but without compression. use the same extension and it should flash properly next time. Worked for me with a S8+ and S9 where the hidden.img was failing to flash after changing from combination file to stock firmware and it was causing frp settings to reset. Edit: It worked for me with U2 and U3.

THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY GOOD VIDEEOO.(2018 September 26th) Very well done ! It helped me out and I followed along better here than any other video! I have a SM-G930t, and many other videos had thrown me off track and I nearly almost bricked the phone when it went into kernal panic and some sbl error that refused to let me go into download mode(until you plug it into a power source). This video has all the links that you need, just remember to download the batch file. You may have to go searching for your own model type though, it shows in download mode at the top left and you should go to SAMMOBILE's website for the firmware you need. Remember, combination files and the firmware are both needed from a NON SKETCHY SITE. Note: You may have to wait a LONGGG time for some certain parts of the whole process. It's not going into Factory Binary and stuck on Samsung? WAIT. I had to wait a whole hour before it finally decided to work. WATCH THE FIRMWARE. And just be SUPERRR patient. If it seems like its stuck on a loading screen or anything like that, just leave it alone and wait a good while. Also, when you do this, you may be able to use the bluetooth trick/ calculator if this didn't work for you already. Use the calculator to go intot he same settings that Factory Binary sent you and reboot, use a FRP remover program from CMD, and BAM, it works as long as your phone asks for the debugging.

Yes Thank you, unfortunately the calculator method and bluetooth method no longer work, there has been other closes to the bypass since this so you are very very lucky to have had an updated device firmware to start with. Well done!

Chris Leach got it to work on the S7, but I'm working on an S6 edge +, and after the batch file and the firmware for AP, its stuck on the Galaxy s6 edge. I can't get to recovery either. Any suggestions? Should I try downloading another firmware file with another AP?

Why does it say to have firmware equal or greater? Does this mean Oreo 8.0?

@@kaitotojiko usually with any updates you cannot flash an older binary such as u3 or S2. The last part of the firmware states the date of release and can also fail to flash if is of an older nature. Factory binary will flash back though.

I had an issue where command returned as adb not recognised when i ran the batch as an administrator. Then it loaded correctly when i ran again without administrator priveleges. If it still had problems with adb connection, then i would suggest creating a new environment variable for adb. Google for how to do that if needed.

OMG! Thanks Mate you are a legend :) I just fixed the bootloop issue and my phone is unlocked now :D I'm very appreciated mate. (Ok here the method for whom facing same problem: After you stuck on Gears bootloop, enter download mode by long press volume down + home button + power button for like 7 secs and after you are in blue download mode press and hold again same buttons and when the screen is off just swipe quickly from volume down to volume up button and hold pressing till you are in a black recovery screen, do factory reset and wipe cache and after that do a restart. Should be working after and bypassing the Gear bootloops.

Ok check this out. I have the SM-T813. For some reason I could not get past the factory binary where you enter *#0808#. What I did in order to reset my Tablet was to put it in download mode, flash a different firmware, (not a combo firmware), an update firmware that would update to Nougat 7.0. After that it allowed me to start fresh and set up my Tablet.

Sorry about the delay i missed you somehow. When flashing a U1 combination file we assume it is early as it is a U1. But often we find out the binary firmware is actually newer than the original firmmware. Upgrade to a U2 firmware. Ensure you other tasks are complete.

Reload stock firmware, sometimes it takes a couple of tries especially with faults like a USB cable with high resistance or interference with computer when flashing etc. If stuck on factory binary logo press and hold the home, volume down and power buttons until screen goes off then swap the volume down to volume up, this will enter recovery.

The firmware is secure so it has to be an equal or greater bu8ild date, not necassarily the version. You can depict the date from the last 4 figures of firmware version. post amnd i shall advise.

Hi Chris: I am working on removing the FRP Lock on a Samsung tablet, SM-T377W. I have performed the steps you mentioned in your video and the FRP Lock is still Enabled/On even after executing the ADB script in the Factory Binary mode. The ADB communication was successful and verified through the ADB devices command. After executing the ADB script, I powered off Factory Binary mode and returned to the download mode at which point the FTP Lock indicator was still enabled. I installed my stock ROM and the device initialization screen required me to enter the previous email address synched to the device. Device: Samsung Tab E, SM-T377W Combination File: COMBINATION_OYA_FA60_T377WVLU3ARG1_OYAFAC_CL7847694_QB18829528_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar.md5 Standard ROM: AP_T377WVLU3BRG4_CL13889345_QB18890846_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5 (Android 7.1.1) Any recommendations on how I can address this issue.

The latest security updates have removed the Google account manager from combination firmware. This means we cannot bypass just yet but am working on it. Will keep you posted.

Hey Prabin! To solve this problem simply look up your model number and search for (model#) firmware download. Once downloaded, put the file inside of the zip file that you just downloaded into odin. Next, just do the steps shown in the video but with the file you just downloaded. Cheers!

Hi Chris, thank you for the video i have watched another one of yours aswell as this one i have run into a problem and not to sure about, i had followed another site and had the combination file for my sm-t585, it was working with binary factory and i thought i sorted my FRP problem i reflashed my firmware to get rid of binary factory and still had the FRP, now am follwoing this video and when i try to flash the combination file via odin i get a fail and on the device it says 'Check fail. device: 3 binary 2' i fear when i reflashed the stock firmware it was the latest stock and thus making my combination file incompatible could you shed any light on this, or any other tech savvy person please

T585 is currently updated to U3 I believe. For example T585FXXU3BPL2. The correct combination file is T585FXXU3ARA1 I believe.

Hi Dave. Leave options standard on odin. I believe the combination is a more recent firmware based on the version. Therefore you may have to step upto a U2 Or a U3 im afraid. Ensure your tasks are complete before you upgrade to higher binary. If you still face the dilemma, a new option will be available.

I've made the error to update to OREO U3 : G930FXXS3ERHD I've used G930FXXU3ARI2 combination file, where I sucess to change to RNDIS DM ACM DB. For some reason, I keep getting stuck on the factory binary screen with the turning gears, and my phone refuses to go past that. I can get into download mode from there, but not the recovery. I've been banging my head against the wall for probably close to the last six hours trying to figure out what the problem is. I just stumbled upon your video, but it doesn't seem any different from what I've been doing up until the point that I get to the gears and factory binary. If you have any suggestions though, I'm very much all ears. This phone is driving me mad at this point.

Yes the latest update has seen the loginactivity.gsf blocked from factory binary, usually by removing the ADB function. If you can see the Device ID before the adb command to locate LoginActivity then ADB should be working corrently. I am currently working on this.

You need to force off by power button and volume down until off, then quickly hold power and volume up, enter recovery, factory wipe them restart. Mine did this too.

On u5 I believe that the Google.login.gsf cannot be accessed via adb in factory binary. This flaw was fixed rapidly.

Yes if I remember correctly if I ran as admin it came back with an adb connection error, but without adkin privileges the batch runs fine. Be aware that this is how a very old method and has been replaced with many more which are more than likely not working anymore.

The firmware will be something like G930vlxxu3ari or equivalent. The U3 determins binary level. Sometimes it is U1 U2 U3 S1 S2 S3 S4 depending on variants. You can see tbe firmware version either in android settings/about/software info/ build..... or on the top of recovery screen by volume up, home and power on. Hope this helps.

Hello Chris, I have a couple questions about a Galaxy S7 I paid someone to remove FRP lock for me and he returned the phone back to me in Factory Bionary mode and proceeded to say the phone needed to charge up to 30% or higher then be powered off and then turned back on and it would restart with the normal functioning android OS as usual. Only after following his instructions I found out that wasn't true and it keeps powering back on and starting up automatically into the Factory Bionary mode. Hi there yes indeed a lie however some devices need a certain degree of battery to flash or recover firmware. So you need to find the firmware with a matching bit code to the factory firmware installed. On the front screen it should give you the firmware identifier like G925FXXU4ARA1 (example) its is the U4 that is important here for a start. Look for the firmware for your model with matching bit code.

Update with samsung kies. Try to obtain a factory firmware with the same bit code as the binary, eg a u1,u2,u3,u4 or s1,s2,s3,s4 etc.

You are correct it is basic operating system for diagnostics only. You need to update using samsung kies or alike. If you prefer to do it yourself search for the correct firmware for your phone at samfirm or sammobile and flash using odin If you arent familiar with the process best let Official samsung sync softwares do the work.

Tab on 8.0.1 is bypassed by talkback in accessibility. Once enabled a tutorial appears. Draw an L on screen and select talkback options. Watch tutorial, which opens KZbin, go to KZbin settings and select terms, opens external chrome. Then find solution like download launcher and open once downloaded, will get you to Android home screen.

So how did the phone actually get unlocked? Cause when you ran the batch file, the cmd prompt said adb is unrecogized as an internal or external command, so that did absolutely nothing.

Yes the phone had the FRP removed, a couple of people mention the adb not recognised but that was because first i tried to run the batch file with phone powered off, it failed, then with the phone powered on it was a success. The video edit does not show the fail but it is the same cmd box. The command box closes when completed.

You can only go backwards if the firmware bit code and date allows which is rare, or with work to the bootloader i believe which is not worth breaking the value of the device.

Flash stock firmware afterwards. Ensure the combo firmware has not raised your binary code, people often overlook this. Flashing a U4 combo over a U2 firmware will not allow backwards flash.

There are lots of reasons for this problem, if you reload the combination file and it gets to this point again, i would recommend flashing to android 10 and check FRP Status there, Plenty of flaws to give access to device. Not good really, to say it is security supposedly at its finest.

The date of the build can sometimes cause issues. The difference is the last 4 characters of firmware which gives information on month year and revision. Look up the Samsung firmware identifiers to get a better idea.

Ok first check the security level of the combination file. Download firmware for your model and region from the Samsung Firmware site in the description. Downloads can be slow but your sure to get original firmware and not false files. Ensure you download stock firmware with equal or greater security level.

I've been following this method before even seeing your video and its not working. but I just now figured out why... My Device is U4 and when I attempt to flash Firmware or Combination lower I get this error. SW REV. CHECK FAIL (BOOTLOADER) DEVICE: 4 BINARY: 3 When I Flash U4 B4 no errors Binary Firmware boots obviously there is no OEM Unlock Option so I go throw with the Batch File and that is done I reboot to download mode and flash stock firmware with U4 B4 and it doesn't work. they must have Patched the exploit. now my question is. Are there other None firmware methods that work on Android 9.0? (Software Glitches and Tricks..) I Attempted the SIM Card Method and the Smart Switch Only to fail. and I have put many hours that I like into opening this phone. so I just don't want to waste my time any longer do you know if the device is valurnable>?
